I have it on PS3. I think it's one of the best games I ever played. The problem is the PS3 version hasn't left hand controller settings and the PS4 does. That would be the main reason for me to buy it again. But I'm still not sure. I know for me to beat the game on the harder settings I would need left handed control's. Very annoying that Naughty dog left out this feature on the PS3.
I also think if I did buy it on PS4 I would play with 30fps settings.
greatest game of all time yea…… yea it's worth it…………..10 fold.
Do not own the game at all. And a question on ps4 there are add-on's for this game of guns, mask/hats, skill( what ever they are) and weapons but the weapon one i was looking at states its not for the remaster but that's the only one i can get.
And once u unlock every cutscene, u can watch them again in the main menu while Neil druckmann, Ashley Johnson, and Troy baker comment on the cutscene. SO YEAH ITS WORTH IT!
Lame excuses dude. It takes a long time to move a PS3 from one room to another? Really? You wanted to play the better looking version just like everybody else. Why not just say that. No one would judge for it.
No offense, but I really don't get people who have a PS4 and say "I don't really go back to my PS3 anymore", I mean the PS3 still has SO MANY games that are not available on the PS4.
A great, honest review. I've just bought it as it's currently discounted on the PlayStation Store, and I'm waiting for it to download. You mentioned discussing the game with your dad. It would have been good if you could have produced a video of your dad's first experience of TLOUR, because the internet loves inter-generational stuff like that! The initial hiccups are always interesting to know about, because they suggest poor game design, and seasoned adults are more fearless in calling any bullshit than young adults, who have something to prove.
i have the original but not the seasonpass so i couldn't pass this up for 15 euros. well worth it.
Idk what to play?!?? On ps4 I have mine for a couple months now this looks very worth besides witcher
I got the game on my PS4 for free I was an XBOX 360 owner and now when I experience games like this I'm glad I've bought a ps4 I missed beyond two souls never played it missed heavy rain never played ig missed all uncharteds now I got a ps4 cant wait for the best experience to begin
where are you from ? wich country ?
Got it for free, absolutely amazing, didn't want it to end!
For me this is a buy even though I own the PS3 version, the last of us was what made me get a PS3. I saw it and thought that is a game I will love and I went in with high expectations that got blown away, I've been gaming since the PS1 came out and over all the years on the consoles I've had which has been PS1, Xbox original, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and most recently PS4, the last of us remains my favourite game of all time. It took me to a point of when I finished it for the first time I sat there listening to the end credit music and was really overcome by a feeling of sadness that I'll never experience that for the first time again.
I owned the original on ps3 and bought remastered on ps4 and it was well more than worth it. I still have my ps3 copy in my ps3 with my ps3 hooked up, but I never play it with remastered now in my possession. It's such a good game that it deserves being bought a second time just for the better visuals and frame rate.
Me: I already got it last gen its a awesome game i dont think i should get it on the ps4
ND: one last time
Me: k lets go buy it, one last time…
The full game with left behind plus dlc and upgraded graphics,
Its worth it.

I got mine 2 days ago and in my opinion its the best ive ever seen!
Of course ! That's why the number 1 reason to buy my PS4 !
Great review. I will be getting the game again as well. Should be great times again =D
Great video Robin!!!
if you´re a PC gamer, the difference between 60 fps and going back to 30 is almost painful :/
Thanks for the honest review, I must say that I agree with you, somewhat.
I played on ps3 (3 times) was "pretty" game but found it quite boring at times (even the first time around). Story became very slow. But in saying that I fully understand why they bought it out in nexgen as it is a masterpiece. Tomb Raider is better, in my opinion from a playability point of view but not worth nexgen credit or purchase (I did and regretted it, a bit)
If you played TLOU on ps3 you don't need to play again on ps4 cos its the same story just "prettier". There are some new nexgen titles coming out in the next 6 months that you could spend £45 (€50) on and feel justified.
