Personally I think it's an awesome game. I've beat it a few times already and now that there's another character I'll likely do it again. Honestly hope they Make some sequels. It's a really good game! Think of it as an up-to-date old school arcade game. It's jest stupid fun to play and level up.

The game becomes very repetitive
Well it been 2 months and the devs have put out like 5 patches. I enjoy the game even more now with version 1.05 on consoles. The game is complete different now 4 playable characters (1 only for 1 level at the moment). Levels complete change for the pace of the game. Even adding more tools and features.
You must be really terrible at this game. I had no trouble clearing every mode including gore, because I actually took 30 seconds to learn how to play the game, dufus. All you modern game critics are merely losers who suck at video games. Go play more stupid cinematic adventures like the last of us, idiots(which are overpriced movies basically). If you don't want to take the time to get good at an action game, you really should not try and ruin it for people who actually enjoy and are good at them…

I loved it. There are too many levels but overall it’s a completely unique game that’s hella fun to just chill or speedrun. This was my first game of the series too
This is my first introduction to the franchise; I thought this was a new IP until I looked into it.
The game is nearly everything I could want but it’s not quite there. I can’t put my finger on what exactly it is but I believe it’s the culmination of all the tiny little issues (the rather clunky controls, lack of variety in the enemies and music, etc) that hold it back. I still see a lot of potential for it though.
One thing that really stood out to me though was the art style(s). It ranges from absurdly realistic like with a few of the bosses and Bunji, to an exaggerated realistic style like with Grave himself, to just uncanny, Quartz being the biggest offender. It feels like it’s all over the place and it doesn’t sit well with me personally, regardless if that’s how the series has always looked.
However by far the biggest offender for me is that the music doesn’t loop. I can jam out to the little the game has but it’s difficult when every single song has this awkward fade to silence like you’re listening to a playlist, and it bothers me that the devs didn’t think to fix that.
I actually love playing this game. Sometimes you want to play a game without all the puzzles and stuff. Sometimes you just want to cause chaos and blow shit up!!! I would definitely recommend this game. I'm not mad at what I paid for
I bought it and i love it to the core. This is my type of game. FUCK DOOM, FUCK EVIL WEST, FORTNITE, APEX LEGENDS, COD, MINECRAFT. I'll never play those. Visually it looks good for a franchise that went completely off radar since 2002. I seen ppl playing games with graphics the likes of minecraft on their Ps4 (sth ill never do) but wanna trash this game graphics like it's worst than "minecraft" or "Life is strange". This is a better version of the previous games now ppl wanna say the previous ones were better. People are dumb and should stick to fortnite or Call of duty and leave games like this for me Japanese games (Bloodborne, Tenchu, Sekiro, MGS, Gungrave, Onimusha, SHinobido etc) are the best ever!! makes me feel like a BAD ASS and this here is the proof. I went with this instead of Evil West and i dont regret it one bit!! ppl should stick with Fortnite this clearly wasn't made for today gamers.
