For me the first and third trailer were ok, BUT the second trailer was amazing, because all or almost all the references of the games with MARIO were in the second trailer and seeing the reference of MARIO KART and RAINBOW ROAD was what pleased me and to everyone who reacted in the most positive way possible. Now it is hoped that the end result is as good as the trailers.
The trailer was absolutely excellent! However, I really wasn’t feeling Mario’s voice for the film in the trailer. If Mario is a New York plumber from Brooklyn, they give him a New York Brooklyn accent… Simple.
I'm not sure why Suzy Lu was included in this list of "Gamers React". I'm not super well versed by all of the creators featured here but as far as I knew, Suzy just does anime and film reaction content while skirting the rules of Copyright Infringement, and Copy Striking any channel that create videos calling her out on her theft.
Most of these dum dums actually forgot mario is from brooklyn, and that he didn't sound like that in the animated series
Edit: I like Charles Martinet, but if I heard his voice for 2 hours (In like full dialouge, not in the little sounds he does) I would rip my ears off.

Most if not all these people reacting to it don’t know anything about the Mario World. Not one reactor in any video you look up mentioned Bowsers Ship in the beginning or even knew that he was on his Ship. Even the end they only said “Luigi” and didn’t connect it to Luigi’s Mansion 👻

Ya know I think Chris Pratt is trying to do that kind of Brooklyn-Italian Mario voice that I remember from the old super mario bros super show cartoon way back. Also we may see princess peach in another trailer soon enough.

I'm still saying people, we'll just have to get used to Chris Pratt's voice as Mario. I mean, doesn't everyone get used to Bob Hoskins' voice as Mario back in 1993?
here’s how I picture this, IDK if this is gonna happen, but it just may, within the next couple years or so, should we see another smash, should that happen, at least for costumes, they should try and work with the 2 companies involved, paramount and illumination, and see about getting the cast of both mario and sonic movies to work with these guys to do VO for a movie skin DLC or if it comes with it. I’d say for the Mario side, we got mario, Luigi, Peach, DK and Bowser worked out since they already in, IDK if yoshi’s gonna make the appearance here. however, if they get Toad in as a DLC or Echo, then we can at least get 90 percent of the mainline cast. for Sonic, now that would need DLC’s for that to work. cause he’s the only guy in right now. had they had robotnik, tails, and knuckles there, then we got something. just, something similar to what MKX did when they brought out the game and movie costumes.

Now I understand the whole issue with Chris Pratt doing Mario's voice. We had all hoped that Charles Martinet would do it like he's done for all the games. But I must point out that all of the cartoons and shows that have been done never had Charles Martinet as the voice. He's only done the games and that's it.
If you go back to Super Mario Bros. Super Show and the first horrendous bomb of a movie, where were the brother's from? Brooklyn, New York! Now, if Pratt does a New York accent, I didn't hear it at all. Maybe it'll become more obvious when we see the movie and hear more lines.
Now having put that small defense for the trailer, I am also disappointed that Mr. Martinet is not comprising his role like everyone had hoped and expected. Everything else about the movie looks very promising and I'm optimistic and got a little hyped with this.
Do people really want a whole movie of the “it’s-a me, Mario!” Voice lol? I very much prefer the plumber from Brooklyn approach honestly

I'm sorry but i have to say this, I don't like chris prat for the voice of mario. Jack and keegan nailed it honestly. Chris sounds like he's more new york then italian. It's not bad, but it isn't great. That's just me
This is a problem in and of itself; either don't overdo the accent and get flamed for it or do the accent and get "canceled" for being rahesist. I believe that is the issue here. If he does something in a Brooklyn or Queens accent, I think that will satisfy the character.
