Get a big mouse pad and turn your DPI way down — you can draw as well with a mouse as a pen.

personally, A drawing tablet is too expensive just for doing art, its literally nothing, plus you got programs like Illustrator that can automatically mimic a lineart with ease.

I like to disable "enhance mouse position" on windows. This is what makes the mouse accelerate when your mouse moves faster, and deccelerate when you drag slow. When drawing, it creates a distortion between where your mouse is and where your cursor should be, making it harder to draw a circle. I turned it off so that the cursor moves based on how I move my hand.

Back in the day I created art for NES / PC games using the OG paint app Deluxe Paint. All with the mouse. I used the palm on the pinky side of my mouse hand to stabilize. I still have a bump there.
