Jack Black's voice is perfect, better than I could have imagined, however he does need to make sure to maintain The Voice. There was a moment during the trailer where he accidentally cracked and fell back into his normal voice. "Now who's gonna try and stop me!!"
I'm so excited for the movie, I don't really even mind that Chris Pratt is playing Mario, Charlie Day is a great choice for Luigi, Keegan Michael-Key sounds good as Toad, Jack Black is AMAZING as Bowser, the animation is beautiful and I can't wait to see another trailer, and the full movie after it comes out!

The Mario bros are canonically from Brooklyn according to Shigeru Miyamoto, thats why the first voices of the bros we received in America were Brooklyn accents. You slightly hear a short scruffy accent in the last Mario line in the trailer. Nintendo has an origin story they're probably going to tell in the movie with a small retcon of their origin of place.

I think is best to wait to hear more of Chris Pratt's Mario voice, there's was only 2 dialogues, there's a chance it can grow on fans the more of it can be heard

The Characters in the Mario movie looks like they receive an upgrade in their designs just like Sega did for the first time to Sonic in Sonic Boom series. I mean I’m not talking about that they turn Sonic classic into modern Sonic that we know in the games no I’m talking about that they make Sonic like a new Sonic that we never had seen before that’s what I’m trying to say.
After credits:
Sonic shows up and asks Mario if he wants to compete in the Olympics with him.
It looks great, Jack Black sounds great as Bowser, the animation is fluid and expressive, Mario doesn’t sound horrible (just weird).
To me, this movie will be great if the plot is actually good.

We should all be happy it's more reminiscent to the franchise unlike The Mario Movie from 1993, but also seems more reminiscent than the Anime Movie.

My expectations were so low… It was kind of like when you go to take a step on some stairs but the height is different than you expect.
