This update is the one that convinced me to repurchase the game. I have had the same complaint about Larian games with every game they publish, and that is that all the NPC's are huge assholes. Finally addressing this and making the other characters you don't control more tolerable is a huge win for me.
I don't like a lot of these changes. I liked the nagging. I liked the cantrips. Wtf?

Larian if your seeing this and I've noticed its been mentioned in discord, can you please redesign the elfs. Look at your elfs compared to in the books. You've made them look human.

You can see how exciting he is about this game, i'm just wainting for the game to be complete to buy it, i was burned by Cyberpunk, should have bought this one instead, but i bought both Divinity's, and really loving to play it. I will continue to follow the progress, the game is looking amazing. If this have a campaing editor it will be an instant buy for me.

I mean characters barely know eachother they should say what they want they don't need to be tolerant with you or eachother. If you get along with them and get to know eachother more then they should start to get more tolerant and understanding not the other way around other than that it was a good update.
Why even have 1 on the die if you can just reroll…lame

I has been ages since I loved a developer team as much as I love you guys! Keep up, take your time however I barely can wait to play the whole campaign. Until then I play the early a couple of times with different characters.
Yeah forget CD Project Red. These guys are the ones who can actually push out an amazing rpg. Bugs are very minimal and constant updates and videos explaining changes. Other companies could learn a lot.

I got this game as a gift. I am a massive Baldurs Gate fan. This game is unplayable dog poo. What engine is this? It's garbage! It's like watching Return of the Jedi for the first time after watching Empire Strikes Back……You've killed the brand!

I have invented a Board Game [still unpublished and not yet out in the market] that I believe is guaranteed to be as challenging and exciting as CHESS. I called it “RUVOL.”

The weakness of chess is it always starts in fixed positions that the opening moves become “memorizable.” In fact, not a few have so mastered the moves that they can play against their opponents “blindfolded.” It is for this very reason that the great Bobby Fischer introduced his so-called “Fischer Random Chess,” where the starting position of the pieces is “randomized” to make the memorization of openings impracticable. Fortunately, it is also for this reason that I invented Ruvol where “every game” has been calculated to be a challenging one to play.

Also, keep working on ways to reward Exp for different play styles, gaining a bonus for successfully bypassing an encounter with stealth for example.
My biggest gripe with early access is (as far as I know) the inability to build our companions however we want to fit roles that can synergise with one another according to our play style. I don’t think it’s to big of a hit to realism to allow constant respecs like in Divinity Original Sin 2, frankly it would make the experience more fun and drives experimental potential through the roof. Maybe there is a reason this wouldn’t work in BG3 that I am missing, otherwise I would love to see this feature Larian. Continue working hard on the game, this community supports you greatly.

I've had DOS2 since launch and am looking forward to jumping into Baldur's Gate 3. I can't find a single game on console atm that will please what I'm looking for in an RPG.. It's sad.

It's January 2021 and there still isn't decent gamepad support. I play the stadia version of BG3 and there still isn't a proper 4k mode either. I do understand delaying the latter but the former needs to be addressed. Not everyone is a kb/m fan.
