My trash-kitten was a winter kitten. I found her right before thanksgiving, on a day that was raining right at the freezing point and everything was turning to ice. She had such a puffy coat, but it was useless against the freezing rain. She was so hungry and cold, there wasn't even any fight in her when I grabbed her. She very unfortunately had 2 siblings, and I never could catch them though I did catch mom much later. I just wish I had noticed them sooner, I could have saved the other 2 as well. I doubt they survived the winter cold.

Also give kitty kisses ( also known as blinkys) while talking to them & they are looking at you do slow eye blinking & they will return kitty kisses to you. I can say from experience the 1st time I get returned kitty kisses I melt like butter all over the floor ( my husband's words lol) and I have to agree. They are absolutely beautiful

I just noticed my orange tabby cat, Finn, watching this episode with me. It not the first time. Finn was rescued as a feral kitten. He still distrusts anyone but me and his foster mom (he's 6 years old now) but is otherwise a totally normal cat around me. Unfortunately, I didn't really have the opportunity to socialize him with people when he was younger. Finn is the funniest cat I've ever had. If I whisper to him he lowers his voice and "whispers" back. And he's a "plopper". He'll walk up to me and just collapse or "plop" down and roll onto his back in a request for pets. When I'm changing the sheets he'll run from anywhere and fly up onto the bed and under the sheet, roll over onto his back with his legs in the air and loudly demand that I play with him. I sometimes think of the joy that would have been missed if a cat rescue group hadn't scooped Finn and his litter mates up and saved them from a life of fear and hunger. Please support this and/or your local cat rescue group.

Their little furry faces are so full of such a range of expressions. Wonderful to see them rescued. Thank you for everything you do.
