Used to love Harry Potter and JKR and was even okay with her transphobia initially because of her past trauma. Then she went full tory and funded Brexit. Now I just hate every Harry Potter.
Omigold if they did this with Narnia.. Absolute dream right there
I have completed my trial and you have convinced me after i watched your review. Thank you!
This was probably the most bare bone review I’ve ever seen are you even a gamer
Holy moly riding a broom in this game looks so friggin awesome! I want to say I just love your reviews. Your enthusiasm and attitude are what I strive for. Your content is very appreciated. I am a bit of a slower gamer, but I am currently playing Breath of the Wild, finally and for the first time, and I am absolutely loving it. So far, I having looked anything up and used any guides except for briefly looking at a map and saying "Holy crap! So many koroks! So many koroks I am missing!" (Although I am finding a fair amount too, 25 so far.) I was really proud of myself when I cracked the "bony crown on a throne" riddle of the one valley/plain. At first I thought, hmmm What monster could this be? But then I was like, wait a minute, this is a riddle and deer wear a crown, where is a giant deer monster on a throne? But then I thought, wait a minute, a mount is kinda like a throne! And taming and riding the buck up onto the platform was just amazing. Not to mention solving the puzzle in that shrine. So, I am getting a little wordy. What I am trying to say is that I am having fun too and your videos are great. Thanks for everything 🧡💙
Haven't played the game and probably won't either, on grounds that I've been out of the loop with this franchise for a good while now and even when I was more actively into it, I'd always find myself having something of a complicated relationship with it, where the more I've spent time thinking about the Harry Potter world and lore, the less I've been able to immerse myself into it.
Then there's the unhinged twitter-raving elephant in the room… While I don't agree with some people treating this one game as if it was some sort of ultimatum for people to pick a side in regards to the matter, let alone ending friendships or bullying streamers online over it, I also don't think it hurts to aknowledge Rowling's increasingly disgusting juvinile behaviour online and blatant anti-trans sentiment, which she has publically contributed to cultivating in recent years and I'd be lying, if I were to say that has no effect on me not finding it comfortable to engage with this game or most Harry Potter-media anymore, regardless how little direct involvement JKR'd had with it.
That being said, if you and others are able to look past that stuff and still get something positive out of the game about going to a wizarding school, I'm happy for you. Think I'll just personally stick to reading Le Guin, if I want to engage with that particular fantasy.
Which house were you playing? Because I've heard Ravenclaw isn't particularly great, but I don't really know what that means…Do you know if there really is that much difference between the houses?
i loved the game and not a harry potter fan either i was brought up on the shire and tolkien loved this game im 100% it only issue i have as a disabled person with dexterity probs is lockpicking holding and doing two different things with diff hands butyes i cant stop playing it
Even in a Harry Potter game Irene finds some way to play a sneaky archer 😂
I grew up with HP. My aunt and I are potterheads. We went to every book opening, [almost] every movie opening. Despite all of that, I almost let this game pass me by. I was originally going to wait until it went on sale before getting it but when I heard you could actually make your own character I caved hard and bought the deluxe edition for the early access as well. And wooooo sheesh. This game is an absolute dream come true for a harry potter fan, let me tell you. So much passion put into this game. I kinda regret going 22 hours before finally getting my broom, though, lol.
Contender for game of the year no doubt
Please please try One Piece Odyssey
Amazing game and grafics good video!!
So far this is my GOTY. The very minor negatives are easy to overlook because the game is so good and fun.
This is one of your best videos ever! I've subscribed for a few years and you are remarkably consistent but this one stands out. 10/10
When I started this game i’d only seen one of the movies. Not a Potter fan at all, but I’m addicted to this amazing game.
Don't let people take you down about playing this game. I love your chanel Ircha specially the farming games.
How does your gameplay experience not feel tainted knowing you’re directly putting money into the pocket of a bigot by doing so?
This game is goated. Everything about it is just …*chef’s kiss*
I followed a link on Ovarit to find you, thanks for this review annnd subbed!
There are some loadings screens/stutteers when you go into or out of Hogwarts. From time to time I get a small loading icon as the game transitions to the outside, but it's not all the time and it's not a huge hinderance. I also get the black screen when fast traveling but even that is only a 3-5 second stop and not too bad to deal with. I am playing on PS5 as well and about 25 hours in.
I had some frame drop issues on PS5, and small load times when leaving one part of Hogwarts and going outside. hopefully they can fix these in an update. There really shouldn't be any load times when just traverse the world.
Hi
Whew, at least one game lives up to the expectation. nowadays all games are overhyped without knowing what it is like to play them.
