Honestly, the 2D is still the weakest it's been. It seems Sega just doesn't know how to do Sonic in 2D within this games engine or even in Forces. It just feels bad.
But 3D feels better my only issue is the wonky 2D feeling
To hear someone talk this passionately about the quality of a Sonic game again makes me so f*cking happy.

I definitely would agree with you the journey has been pretty incredible I will be playing it hopefully by tonight with midnight actually comes because we've been waiting for 5 years for this I don't care what anyone says I don't care about some of the mixed reviews the point is like they really did care about the Sonic fans they really did reference a lot of stuff from past games and it feels so good to have a really good 3D Sonic game and I'm definitely taking your recommendation games cage awesome video looking forward to be playing it can't wait to see more content for this.

i fucking love this game. I love this game. I love everything about it. I’m sure there’s some stuff that I wish would be added in but maybe it will be later but fuck this game is so fucking amazing. I just wish fucking critics wasn’t keep trying to put down sonic because he doesn’t deserve that shit and I’m just a little worried
