everybody knows ost content creators and reviewers are bribed, ign is comically know for being bribe hungry
Dust bin and concord got 7, so not surprised at all
LOL that's what games get for supporting this game jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja
Isn't this a SEC violation? undisclosed paid adverts?
Ubishit at it again
"Praised by players and critics alike" yes and then they woke up
No need to go that far, anyone that has or had a girlfriend knows that if you take her on a date, pay for everything she wants and have fun, by the end of the night your chances of getting laid skyrocket….
Congrats… you are now Ubisoft's girlfriend….. 🤡
Isn't this thing kinda how it's been always done with access media?
Like, this isn't new.
Gmanlives was another guy that I respected mostly for his honest reviews, then he "reviewed" the game and suddenly "oh it's not bad, it could get better" mean while saying almost nothing significantly negative about the game, even though he showed himself having bugs and glitches and graphical issues. Then took the review down when he got too much backlash, then put up a "woe is me" post on twitter and YT community, then put the video back off private still talking crap.
They got brave to put up the ads on it hahahaha
I dont want to protect Pietsmiet with this, but i still have to give some additional information, so that people may understand more why they did what they did. Dont get me wrong, what they did was still bad…
(You may take this with a grain of salt, bc im a fan of them for more than 10 years)
They normally say quite obviously if they dont like a game, i mean they had a format called "Trashnight" where they play different games they dont really like and make fun of them a lot, and also explain why they think these games suck…
Their relationship with Ubisoft is a rocky one. In the past they uploaded a video about one of ubisofts new games and made it clear how they thought it was utter garbage. A few days after uploading, all of their uplay ( Ubisoft Connect ) accounts were suspended, without any explanation… At this point round about 1k euros of games dlc etc just gone, for everyone of the team(back then 6 now 5). They never got them back, at least 5k just gone…
They are a gaming channel, they need acces to their games, obviously…
At some point they made new accounts and had to buy everything again, the only way to keep these new accounts and get keys/events etc again, was if they delete the video, which they did, but at least they have been transparent with it. They dont like Ubisoft, but they differentiate between company and developers. If they dont like a game from ubisoft, they simply dont make a video…
Also, they didnt get much of the butter uped treatment, not because they didnt want to, but because, they simply didnt had the time.(Peter, the one who played mostly, has a less than 6 months old child, not much time for whales, nor disneyland).
Again, i do not want to protect them, but i believe Peter really enjoyed the game.
ubisoft making Ubislop
Buying positive reviews is like buying bots to make your YouTube/Twitch channel look popular
Let Ubisoft get their profits from their 2% woke community, and yes this goes to all you companies catering to this 2%.. I am sure it’s gone really well for you all.. hear this Budweiser, Disney, Hollywood, EA.. you get it. Punish with your wallets and let the heads roll.
this is one of those things that is not technically illegal, but it is morally illegal and shows that we shouldn't take their reviews seriously
So since they know journalists are useless when one tried to Bat for them it just made players more aware of the Flakey AI in the game. They are now trying to slap big influencers with a green fan of money? I sure hope a list of these benefits appears so that Actual Gamers can stir clear from the now Colored Reviewers which would have been Objective Reviewers before being pandered to.
Having to do an anti bribery course each year, this meets the very definition of bribery. No they didn't get any monetary gains but all gifts meet all the legal requirements to be seen as such
… that looks like some weird cameo of a player character from generation zero
As a former government employee, this would make the state ethics officers pay the recipient of such treatment a visit and give them a boot-propelled trip to the unemployment line.
> Saw YouTubers reviewing Star Wars: Outlaw.
> Look at the Comment section and find "Thank you Ubisoft for sponsoring" from the Youtuber.
That's how biased review is made, often YouTubers sell their soul for the sake of money it's pathetic.
I'm sure those influencers will swear they weren't paid to give a positive opinion, but what they don't understand is that there are many different ways of being "paid off." It's not like in the cartoons where an evil looking guy in a top hat and monocle throws a bag of money your way. In reality, it's stuff like free plane rides, free copies of the game, inviting you to parties, stuff like that.
It's not getting paid in the literal sense, but they are definitely trying to manipulate you by earning your trust via the promise of current and future free stuff. It's like a corporate Sugar Daddy.
all this when they just need some normal attractive characters
The third party could have been hired by Disney. Disney also has skin in this game
$10 says Ubisoft will do the same thing when Assassin's Creed Shadows is reviewed.
exceptionally old news. i'm pretty sure bethesda was doing this with skyrim (the first time), and i know it has happened long before that..
Who knew there was such a job market for lying?
Clownfishtv has been saying this for years. They at some point were like these disney dust sniffers until they made one comment about the lack of shade at one of the disney park rides and out of the circle they were.
I'm surprised they didn't pull off a Mr beast and delete all negative reviews
best part of this video was the Star wars outlaws add that played in the middle of it. (edit:Sarcasm(im not gonna buy it))
Ubisoft is a shitty company, old news.
But journo's haven't been ethical for yrs.
The only people praising this shit heap are the whack jobs that'll never touch the game.
how are you gonna make a crappy star wars game nowadays? You gotta piss off both gamers AND star wars fans. being real with you brother, you ain't gonna salvage that shit lol
