40$ of dlc for an ok game is not good. Those dlc look like content cut from the game just to sell it back to you.
They should of just made it into one of them Naruto/dbz style fighting games there ass aswell but still better than this type of bs
This one wasn't on my radar at all, but dang, that combat… Who knew people were out here making classic Tales of battles in this day and age? I'm very here for it.
We have had worse anime games.
I like it.
The game seems okay i guess but why is Veldora and Milim dlc? Also wish it was more like Tales of Arise or maybe Fate Samurai remnant
I am sick of side scrollers!!!!!! It's f**** its 2024 it's been twenty years since side scrollers were cool. I don't care what this combat style is called. It's no better than f**** Pokémon.
On game boy. Let mortal kombat, have their thing quit reskinning it.
Yeah, the problem is, I'm sick of these. Crap anime games. Just one example explains the problem perfectly. Sword art online is an anime that takes place in a MMORPG. Literally everything in the anime was just a matter of altering, the concept of the mmo in the anime, to work on consoles instead of VR. Couldn't get that right. One piece has done a little better on some games. But still, you have the perfect makings of an awesome game mix assassin's creed black flag with sea of thieves make it one piece themed and make devil fruits findable items and build your own crew by traveling to different Islands and finding different one piece characters and doing quests to have them, join your crew or beat their ass or even join their crew and unlock a different story. Or lean more towards see a thieves, but one piece themed with devil fruits and haki. Dragon ball games used to be good but the combat and going super saying is worse than how it was back on the 360. Naruto games the same thing technology has gotten better, but they're still making the same eight bit games. A lot of anime fans are also gaming fans, but anime games have a bad rap because they're all cash grabs or non canon knockoff story based with mediocre mechanics. If I was going to make a game based off that time, I got reincarnated as a slime. I would probably make it non chronological story based open world with building similar to valhiem but with models from the anime that you can use if you don't want to take the time to build the entire city. And it's probably because some greedy b**** has a patent but I would ignore it and add a multi input system like holding down LT a b x y all do a different ability holding down LB gives you another set of abilities to use in combat and holding both down let's you.
Control the path of your sword for more immersive melee combat. And honestly, that formula would work for almost any anime game if some actual effort in development was made, and they would definitely make their money back. And these franchises, most of them definitely have the money to do it, and even if it flops, it ain't gonna hurt their budget. But if you actually make a decent game, it's not gonna flop. Because even the people who don't like anime but like gaming might like the game if it's done well rather than just preying on anime fans with s*** games. I've been disappointed with every single new anime Game since the early two thousands. And the gaming industry in general is screwy. Right now, it's twenty twenty four and games still have the same boring mechanics/ input controls.
I would've loved this if it was similar to how an open world game would be, like how genshin or other games like it look. But that is just me
Sounds kinda cool but seems shallow, so I’ll play when it heads to a game catalogue!
I'm a huge fan but the game is CaCa
I'm enjoying it, but I also enjoy the anime. I'm stuck on one part and cant figure out how to do one special attack that Ranga has come up with..
It really is a shame since it is a fun little game. Problem is the asking price and presentation.
With slightly better graphics and a smaller price of entry most people wouldnt be as negative towards the game.
I will say this, the game feels like a smaller scale Tales of game and if not for nothing, playing this game has gotten me interested in playing the Tales series.
How is the enemy variety?
I wish they've just made it like the Naruto franchise and almost all other Bandai games, it may lack some content but it's much appealing than this
God the audience for this youtube has zero taste in games
I would hold off on purchasing games made based on the series until around season 5-ish is out. At least with the pacing of the anime. The written series is quite long, and a couple of key story elements that would make a great game haven't been animated yet. Lots of great content to come that would make a great story based game. ^-^
The pc/console game looks like it should be the mobile game & the mobile game looks like it should be the pc game 😮
Cult of the lamb gameplay are what exactly what I expected at this game, have a bit disappointed about the town building part
Money 💰
So, turns out I was wrong about the Steam Cloud representing the game being Cloud based. The comment has been deleted due to being a mistake.
I like that the f2p version got an offline version, for preservation's sake. But Bandai could learn from Capcom and do it right, like they did with Mega Man X Dive. Bandai should have been transparent about this repackaged game, and priced it accordingly at $30. These kinds of deceptions really put me off supporting them. Though I do appreciate the linear active combat from older Tales here.
As an aside: I'm sad they have a grip on all of my favorite Namco properties and do literally f-all with them, in favor of dull mobile and copy/paste anime arena brawlers.
Game looks like a fun one and done game but i cant justify 50$. Maybe id grab on big discount
yeah this reminds me of a ftp mobile game not a $50 one i get its not full price but i feel like this should be $20 max
If the exploration maps were top down instead of a sidescroller I probably would've liked it.
50$ heck 70$ is not worth it ._.
I'd pay for it if it was Slime Memories cuz man a Mobile game has more content than this xD
If i do get the game i'd totally keep Shion and Ranga the party mostly
Also lemme guess we can't play Ogres either huh?
I was robbed. There was no free gift code anywhere. How dare you!?
I was really looking forward to it for the walking around
I wish they would just stop with these awful side projects. They cannot even properly adapt the manga into anime. Season 3 part 1 was horrific and kill so much hype for the series. Yet they keep trying to cash grab with awful side projects.
At least the manga and light novels are still good!
The game is the same pretty much as Slime: Isekai Memories on mobile with just slightly upoed graphics and a more tales of style fighting. Nothing but a grind fest with the battles being the same as the last one. Game is worth maybe $20 at best.
Tales of legendia vibes
Love the show but the game no thank you
Because its yet another low effort cash grab. WHy be shocked.
Kind of looks like a Tales game. Which is what I like. Definitely thinking of buying this.
never watched the anime but that 2d combat got my attention
