My shih had cherry eye like daisy has in one eye here, mine got it from dandelions so whenever it happened, straight away, I would gently massage it back, I saw a vet how to do it on YouTube. eventually it happened less and less till it hasn’t happened in years and she’s eight now. The gentle massage helps it to strengthen back into it.

That’s a great idea. Very good suggestion to have the dogs clipped before they have surgery so you don’t have to worry about their fur for the next month.

I think she is part Schnauzer. They have the most silky soft coat and best of all they don't shed.

Daisy looks cute being shaved down. I would have liked to have seen her with the long hair that wasn't matted. I think she is would have been just as cute. She was such a good dog during the grooming. She must have owners who take good care of her.

If the owner doesn’t want to blow dry their dogs, there is also the option of a brush with a dryer integrated in it. My male Cavalier will allow the brush/dryer but not a hair dryer alone, where my female Cavalier didn’t care either way as she was start from an early age. Sadly my boy is a rescue so I don’t know how old was when he started getting regular 6 week grooms.
Havanese are some of the sweetest dogs and if their owners are diligent in their maintaining their coats between grooming sessions, they tend to be very good during grooming sessions. Since I have a Havanese, I could be a little partial! 😄
