Im definitely trying to embrace the "dont just play one spec" of a class mentality in the war within. Plan is to play Dk. Tank with blood, dps with frost and pvp with unholy. Swaping unholy and frost if need be. And just get gear for each spec. Its way to easy to swap talents to not enbrace the ability to simply swap on demand for the content youre planning to do that day. And as far as gear, really just tanking to get my gear for blood, pvp for conquest gear for unholy, and frost will be my kinda off spec when im not the tank.
How warbands work about quests? Main and secondary quest?
used to main a frost mage and then started playing a beast mastery hunter and actually preferred it to the mage as it fits my playstyle, rolled a ret paladin too which is amazing and the aoe damage is insane and even though I only use my mage now for mining and herbalism I'm stuck between the hunter and the paladin as both are my playstyle
looks like monk vs pala for me if I decide to throw many hours into this game again haha

I hate playing Rogue generally but I love Outlaw rogue. I just genuinely wish there was more distinct class fantasy and design in Outlaw.
Outlaw imo should really push into the Sword and Pistol gameplay and go into a mixed Melee/Ranged design focus that would feel more akin to playing a Pirate or Bloodborne character than a Rogue.

lol mate which game did you play? is the same WoW? Druid tank is a blast and you can play Hybrid Boom Guardian now and you are almost immortal. Feral is just better than Rogue in basically any aspect … Priest despite being very good is a almost impossible class to use in any solo content and you die quite quick. Paladin is a block of concrete sitting there shooting light..the most bland class since TBC
Never look at average numbers, always looking at maximum numbers. If the gap is fat its bad. I dont need a meta spec but theres a limit.. i think they need better balancing for si gle and aoe by fixing talent tress so you dont ever have a SINGLE or AOE build and always play both at once

My main choice has been the same and will continue to be the same as it has been since Cataclysm: Beast Mastery Hunter.
Through all the ability changes, all the reworks, all the talent changes, and all the high times and low times I have been a BM Hunter. Nothing matters to me more than what resonates with me.

I basically only pvp.
I play hunter.
I can top the damage charts if I want to, but DMG is only a portion of gameplay.
I fall to midrange in KB's intentionally, because I spend so much time ccing and debuffing etc.
I play extremely supportive to my teams, as opposed to punching my way to the top of the chart.
I win more than I lose in randoms and I think this may be why.
Weve all lost plenty of BGs with our team topping the KB and DMG chart.
If you lose but you top the chart you just literally awarded yourself an "L".
Same goes for raids.
No one but YOU cares if your toon can max dmg.. they care if you can support them all the way to a "W" .

Never in the history of World of Warcraft has rogue, mage or warrior been a bad choice. They are the three classes you can roll with 100% assurance of being overpowered in either pvp or pve or both.
There is no wrong choice, play what class you prefer. If you're waiting for someone to tell you what class to play in wow, you need to re-examine yourself.
I've been doing shadow priest in tww and to be honest I might be a bit squishy but I dish out a ton of burst dps and can quickly kill groups of mobs in world content

The potential dps difference between the best and worst specs is closer than warcraft logs show.
The highest performing players gravitate towards better specs bc they have to play what's optimal for guild progression.
This inflates the difference between the top and bottom performers. If top players played the 'worse' specs more, the numbers would be much closer. Wow is rly balanced now
Also having a balanced raid/party comp is way more important than maximizing potential dps, so just play whatever you think is cool. Dont pick the fotm top dps class

I've just decided to try WoW out again, I've been away for… well, since a little bit into Mists of Pandaria. Trying to pick something to start with is rough, haha.
Look… I've been a Vulpera Shaman all expansion of World of Warcraft: Dragonwoke. I just want to be a Feral Druid-kitty in this expansion. But… I'm unsure wether to choose Horde or Alliance. The Alliance are real jerks on my server; but I do like the whole legendary hero feel of the Alliance. Then again… I can't STAND the Alliance players on my server; mostly the PVPers.
As a feral druid, I've been perfectly happy.
