The government does seek out people, the NSA came to my cousin while he was still in high school like 10 years ago , they offered him a possible career because his intelligence was so high , some how they learned about this 17 year old , they promised to put him on track to join a military intelligence agency after college , It was a big deal the whole family talked about it for years , dude was one of the smartest students in our part of the country..
