It looks like Harry Potter mixed with Bully on 360. As someone who likes Bully, it’s okay, but the Switch version feels like too much of a downgrade.

I’m a minute in and it looks like a completely different set of models. I’m impressed they bothered because it looks like they completely remade all the assets to be ps2 era quality. And I don’t mean this as a negative- I’m genuinely wowed.
I'm surprised that you're surprised at some of the changes they had to make. Especially the water. It's quite well-known that water is one of the most difficult surfaces to render, especially when you add reflections and realistic currents. Naturally it will be massively scaled back for the switch. Idk why that was shocking to you.
Bit useless to compare the game on switch to other consoles. Apples and oranges… 🍊🍏🤷♂️

The game has 2007 graphics but the story is so enjoyable that I tolerate it. It has crashed a couple times on me. I would only recommend buying it on sale.

I have a ps5 but I still chose the switch version for the portability factor. It’s nice to be able to sit in bed with some TV in the background while playing this. And it still looks quite good on switch. My kids also have switches – so it’s easy to just rip the cartridge out so that they can play it on their switches too. I was happy to take the graphical hit for the convenience factor

Idk where you’re getting that “Switch video” from but it does not look like that in the switch. Certain graphical changes yes but your video makes it look so bad and I’m sorry but it just doesn’t look like that, even when I play it on the switch lite. You are lying to your audience sir.
It’s quite an impressive feat to compress and downgrade such a game on the Switch, you got to admire the devs dedication to such a thing. Despite the delays, in the long run it is worth it. I played the game on Series X and playing it again on the Nintendo Switch after a year. I got pretty bad short term memory, but I p’m able to enjoy the Nintendo Switch version.

To me, it looks like we're seeing an Xbox One s remaster of an old ps2 game, the switch being the ps2 game, obviously. The switch port looks terrible. Clearly, the devs only making the port to cash in on the Harry Potter franchise. There's no way you would spend time and resources to make this crap port version.

Switch version is not as bad as he makes it sound. Definitely immersive for a Switch game and very few games to compare it to on the same console.
Ironically the Switch version has become the best way to play since the PC and PS5 versions cant stop crashing after the last patch.
