People think that cats and dogs are really different because cats will just sleep if you don't pay attention to them.
But that's just sheer boredom on their part.
If you treat your cat the way you treat your dog…talk to them, and pay the same attention to them… you will have a very fun-loving and LOVING cat that acts very much like a dog. They are social creatures and love to play with their human & other pets… and will always want to be around them.

I lost my 10 year old cat back in August. He's the love of my life and I miss him so much … but then shortly after we lost him, we found a kitten that looked so much like my boy. After a month of him coming to visit us, seemingly no owner, we finally decided to take him into the vet to see if he was chipped and get him some preliminary kitten care. He wasn't chipped so he is ours now. It's been almost a week with him in the family and now we can't imagine not having him. I fully believe my boy sent us a kitten because he knew we needed him. I'm so grateful. Nothing will ever replace my sweet boy, but I'm glad we can give another sweet boy a good loving home.
