Ive been asking for a cat for years now, and when I asked for at least a rat, my mum said: 'if were going to get a pet, let's just get a cat' I could've sworn my heart skipped a beat and I stared at her open-mouthed. Then my dad agreed. My mouth fell more open. Then I said: 'EEEEEEEEE YAYYYY EEEEEEE' I'm getting one this Christmas.

My cat passed away 3 months ago, my parents didn't want me to adopt another cat (we already have other cats, my sisters'). But last month my father let me adopt one, only if I could afford it. Now I have a beautiful kitten to keep me company. I'm 26 years old and still live with my parents, so I needed their permission. But I'm SO happy!!! A cat is really missed by anyone who has had one
