Chita and smaller cats purr in the wild. I even petted a zoo chita when it was purring
Hmmm. An older semi-feral cat came into my life years ago and started the screaming yowl some years ago (pretty sure she was fixed). The sound is EXTREMELY loud and penetrating. We have since moved to a retirement apartment and it's a problem Lights on at night are a must, but she still screams for no apparent reason between midnight and 5 AM. (I hope some residents are deaf.) She also tends to scream after I've fed her … AND before. I never thought of the probability of Altzheimer's. Interesting. She eats 24/7.
A cats hiss sounds like a Snake
his egg like head is, so interesting, haha this guys knows a lot about cats he is great, i always come to him to learn
My fixed male cat does the caterwauling… he does it when he’s in the other room alone, and stops when someone comes in or calls. He’s not an older cat, so he definitely doesn’t have dementia. I’ve had other (fixed) male cats do this, too. Maybe it’s a different kind of meow than the caterwaul, but after all these years, I still don’t know what it means. I always assumed it just means “where is everybody?” Or maybe I got them fixed too late?
My female cat isn’t spayed yet because she’s a stray who absolutely refuses to go back outside so we payed to get her teeth fixed first. But omg that in heat meow was spot on. I’m relieved to learn she’s not in pain or needing something.
Ekekekekekekekek
Our spayed female cat with make a sound very similar to (if not exactly like) caterwauling when she's about to throw up. I think she wants us to look at her throw up so we feel bad for her
My cat defo still catawalls & she was fixed late. It's cute though 😬😬😬
**Video should come with a trigger warning for our male cats* (re Caterwall!) @JacksonGalaxy
My neutered male cat was curled up sound asleep midday on my bed during this vid until the Caterwall. Then he perked up like a champ and came over to me with the most urgent look in his eye: "Can I go outside mom? Like now?" He's an indoor cat so that ain't gonna happen, but its pretty funny. Had to skip past that part @JacksonGalaxy
New cat owner. Always had dogs. The wife came home with a kitten one day and now I’m the primary cat sitter as a home worker and I am smitten with the little thing! She makes so many little noises and is so loving (despite my hands literally being clawed within an inch of their lives)!
Ps this video sent her wild! 🤣
… love it. Watching it with my fluffball sleeping/dozing, and he sort of reacts to no sounds of your lovely vid – BUT the cat in heat (you can tell I have a tom … 🤣)
My flame point talks a lot and purrs
You are amazing Jackson!
In 3 days ill be entering the universe of being a loyal servent to a Russian Blue 14 weeks old. I used to have dogs but now that i am alone and miss having a 4 footed companion i thought it would be wise to adopt a kitten.
Im watching almost all your video's and i have learned so much! I'll propably never learn enough or will stop learning wile she is here. Her name is Chilly 🌶🔥
Anyways, i just wanted to say hi and thank you !! Your video's are of so much help you cant imagine. Thank you for being the best catdad out there, sharing you knowledge and putting your time and awesome energy into making these video's !
my cat doesnt talk. she argues. no joke. she learned to ALWAYS try to get the last word in. My solution. Silently mouth a word at her. The look of rage is worth it. she also doesn't quite understand that seeing the bottom of one of the two twin-dish food bowl is infact… NOT a national disaster. beyond that. I always give her loving crap and verbally tease her when she makes.. "uncharacteristic" noises. She talks, a LOT. but trills, and other noises. No.Her 2 sounds of choice are Meows and Purring aggressively while smashing my nose in with her forehead. (I know why she does that, my nose does not like it.) and once, she stretched out and quite literally squeaked at me. That one caught me off guard. I have NEVER ONCE heard her squeak. cutest furball i've ever known. Cat lover for life.
Absolutely love the full blown conversations I have with my sweet boy. Thank you for the video ❤
Who else had to watch a five minute ad?
I’d love advice on living with a cat with limited sight and/or hearing.
My Trufa has such a shy meow, Molly has one more…demanding (give me food!), and Harleen is just like a crazy opera singer with a "lets make a nice echo" complex.
6:27 lmaoo my cat does that with me 24/7 she must think im her child
Jackson I got two cats on your advice their brother and sister. They have been spayed and neutered. That was my birthday present. They’re about two years old now, and the brother keeps attacking the sister and she will beat the crap out of him and he still will attack her what can I do? They two years old now and they’ve been together. I got them at six weeks and otherwise they’re wonderful. The female her name is salt and she’s just the most loving cat you ever wanna know except when he comes around his name is peppa Can you please tell me how to handle this? I’m going crazy. I love them both so much and I don’t wanna have to rehome either one of them.😊
My new kitten, Skye, a little 6 month old female, only 'squeaks' . I've had her for 3 months now, and she has never mewed. I adopted her from a foster cat mom. Talk about not being very vocal, but it is cute. 😻😻😻
