I have one question about getting kittens friends if you adopt a kitten with an older cat say a other bigger maybe 5 or 6 year old would that still be okay?
My older cat abs hates the new kitten and both hisses at each other in proximity 🙁

I play with my cat bandit at least once a day because he’s a full grown cat now if I got a kitten, I would play with this catnip toy with it so it would fight anything bad I would get this catnip toy that has catnip and I’ll start like putting in a kitten somewhere and letting it watch as bandit plays the toy so when the kitten is ready to play, it will follow what Bandit did😺

I take an old sock and stuff it full of some plastic grocery bags, then use a zip tie to seal it. My cats love them. It makes noise and they can kick the crap out of it. The kitten I just rescued goes nuts for it. For older cats i sprinkle some catnip in there too. Cheap, easy and they actually like them more than the fancy toys I buy them.

I catsitted 2 cats separately, a guy and a girl, and both would try to playfully bite (kinda noticible btw) and I'd play like they hurt me too much and they would understand. After 1 or 2 times like that they'd stop trying to bite.
We were doing really well with my rescue kitten but he needed surgery (enucleation) at 14 weeks and has developed an abscess unfortunately… so he's been sick and with drains and a cone for 2 weeks now. His energy's come back and he's desperate to play but we can't use any toys yet because of the drains on his face… 😢
I got a new kitten named him Trunks and my brother got one the day after and named his Bra. I didn’t think it was funny. 😒
This is our first kitten so I’m getting a lot of different advice on what to do bc he is becoming quite frustrating. He definitely goes after our hands/feet AND faces. Some places say redirect, others say be the mama cat and punish/negative reinforcement. I feel like I’m trying everything and therefore nothing is working. I work so I’m not able to be home all day but I try to play with him as much as possible when I can but he still doesn’t seem to let us really pet him and still thinks everything is a toy. I’ve tried bopping, I’ve tried redirecting, I’ve tried hissing. Only things I haven’t tried yet are a spray bottle with water and or yelping. But he seems to think bopping is us trying to play so that’s out. And while he likes to play with toys he still goes after us.

My kitten was adopted at 8 weeks now he's 11 weeks . He's starting to play but he won't play with Any toys he plays with my hand. He bites too hard when playing and it breaks skin. I say ouch or pull my hand away but he doesn't seem to understand he's play biting too hard. What do I do? To trach him not to bute hard when playing with me
Still bite. After let her play a lot. Really a lot. Giving her 4 toys a day. Sad. I almost give up. All toys are moving. And I let her catch. Not intimate. But she still want my hand and leg. 😢😢😢
@KittenLady, what if my kitties are weird and DO NOT like laser pointers? Also, I kind of adopted a three month old kitten, so I want him to be out of his bad habits, but he is proving to be a bit more difficult to stop with these bad habits. Does your advice work, given that kind of unintentional hurdle?
Light bites are a sign of belonging or love and should not be stopped.
