Kratos canonically didn't have armour or equipments in gow4 it's explained within the novel that he just kinda gets better and better as the story proggesses. GowR explation is more of a gameplay-ish explanation.
A powerful mythologically accurate godess puts up a good fight against a kratos that is constantly restraining his godly rage putting kratos around his normal mortal/demi god levels is not woke.
And i also don't know why he says that she beat kratos, she didn't even do that.
And it's not like kratos surpressing his rage for sake of self control is something only some lore junkie would know. It's pretty much directly told to us in game.

Both games are masterpieces, and synthetic man is an idiot.

Synthetic Man has a very simplistic view of what surrounds him. His opinions are very stupid and with no logic sometimes. But, unfortunately, God of War Ragnarok is not a masterpiece and has a lot of flaws in the story.
