It just occurred to me that Charles Martinet might be voicing the King Penguin in this trailer, since the way he says "Do you yield" sounds a lot like Paarthurnax from Skyrim (who he also voiced.)

Chris Pratt sounded a lot like how Capt. Lou Albano did Mario back in the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
A shame I didn't see your live reaction to Chris Pratt and Jack Black talking about their respective roles in the movie, they were… something else.
As for the trailer itself, the only issue I had was Chris Pratt's Mario voice. He only said a few lines, so I can't fully judge it, but I will say I do appreciate that he kind of, sort of gave Mario a Brooklyn accent. People say it's "not the Mario voice", and no it's not Charles Martinet's Mario voice, but as someone who grew up with a lot of Mario voices, from Captain Lou Albano to Walker Boone to even Bob Hoskins, I'm a bit more lenient with this kind of thing. Still, the fact that it's not really "Mario" or even "an Italian guy from Brooklyn" but still just "Chris Pratt" is a little concerning, as it always has been, but hopefully we'll hear more in the coming months.
Other than that, everything about the trailer was great, I liked Kamek and Bowser's voices and designs, the bit with the penguins was fun, the look of the Mushroom Kingdom is beautiful, Mario's design is fine (at least, I think it's fine, not "uncanny" or "off" like some people are insisting, obviously it's different, but I was expecting that going in), Toad's voice surprisingly works, and I'm really intrigued to see what Luigi's up to during all this.
He has a Fix-It Felix Design for Mario which looks perfect
I had low expectations for the movie before the trailer. But now I am soooo pleasantly surprised! I am here for it. I am a huge mario fan. It comes out around my birthday. I can't wait!
Maybe theres a possibility can change his voice when he got any power….have you encountered in mario bros games when mario is small his voice got high pitch? So just wait the movie before you judge.
Look the list of cast, Charles Martinet is still part of the mario movie so you have to wait the full movie or the official trailer.. this is teaser only
