I always loved the horizon series. The narrative is just peak and the acting, it's like playing a movie
"Forbidden West: climb shit and that's all you really do, but hey, at least it isn't a souls based game. For once. Oh and you have to be a console peasant to play it on release"
B-Loy
looooooool😂😂😂😂😂
Blud didn't miss the chance to say Nora The Explorer
5:26 i thought she looked like Carrie-Anne Moss too
Talks about tropes at time of original but then neglects to call out the chain of tropes for the end? It's even rated S for spoilers
B-LOY had me dying.
B-LOY !
I would say the charm of Horizon is to discover new and exciting machines and finding efficient ways of taking them down.
MANIC PIXIE SEED GIRL ARE U KIDDING ME I CANT BREATHE
its an amazing game, but the finale was a bit weird. I dunno could work in the end but yeh
Y'all can hate me all you want but the mechanic system and the skill tree is worse on 2. In my honest opinion 1 is still better.
We don't even get Twitter anymore…
So accurate. I loved it.
I love this game so much and I still can't decide if I like Forbidden West or Tears of the Kingdom more!
B-Loy 🤣🤣
If they let us ride the thunderbird, THAT would have been giving them GOTY for sure
Moral of the story: Play on the right difficulty level for you.
"what do we have, twitter ?" –> well that aged poorly :p
Well, the comment about riding dinosaurs with lazers not happening in "any botw" didnt age well because TOTK had mechs with dick lazers😅😅😅
"…what it would be like to fight a tank with a bow"
I remember playing the first game and thinking "Gee, this combat would be a lot more fun if there was anything I could do that worked well at all. Like some kind of effective dodge, ranged attack, or melee attack. A contextual action of some kind, even. Ooor I could just run around panting and grunting while the giant robot monsters stomp all over me again and again, or that frigging eaglebot spams me with homing electric AoE blast spheres until I run out of already-implausible resistance to death." Also I hate the giraffe tower things, exploration is about NOT knowing.
Same goes for any frigging game that gives you a tower to climb that fills the map with icons. Just… don't. A big map full of debatably optional mini-activities repeating the same few types of barely-gameplay over and over again, is not fun. It is busywork, it is playtime-padding, it is what people do when nobody who has a concept of fun is allowed in the planning meetings.
Pretty spot on except you forgot to mention the hours and hours it takes for you to run travel around the map collecting the same 3 machine parts to upgrade all the gear. Love the story and aesthetics, though!
This video ages so well with how the current state of twitter is 🤣
Ahahaha “B-loy”
"First PS Exclusive that might actually make you consider buying one!"
Bloodborne: "If only we wouldn't overshadow them twice"
