Hi all, if any of you managed to make them feel confortable together? How long did it take? What strategy did you use?

Swap beddings? My cat sleep everywhere apart from where I set her a bed lol
I have a "barn cat" (Turkish angora mixed with a buff tabby) and he is just a feisty little dude. He is full of energy, loves to play, loves to chase, and loves to talk.
He has always been afraid of animals because he's been an only pet, but with my getting a Samoyed (big fluffy white wolf) I have been trying to get his confidence levels boosted. A great way to boost cat confidence is by walking them, letting them outside with you, and even taking them places. I've been putting a harness on my cat and bringing him down the street to greet neighbors and other cats. After a few weeks I've noticed he is less skittish. I get my pupper in November so let's see how my plan works out
I love it❤😊
Try it it's really helpful for you

Orthodox Jews never raise any animals, they consider it a heavy burden to carry, and a possibility to look after, they are dirty and hungry every time. According to some culture and beliefs animals are goblins and can spy on you, and tell all your intimate secrets to devils. Devils can reveal everything about you
I have a very aggressive dog that dislikes other animals .What should I do?
does anyone know any other quick things that can help? i have to get rid of one of my animals but they've both helped with my mental issues and so I really don't know what to do, I've just been crying about it all day, anyways uh thanks and I hope you guys have a better day 🙂
I'm 16, have a 5-6 year old female cat and just brought home a 2-month-old female Blue Heeler/Border Collie Mix. Started off keeping them separated, until the cat got out and scratched the puppy in the eye. (Already took her to the vet, she'll be fine, on antibiotics.) Puppy is extremely confident and curious, has no hesitation running up to the cat excited and wanting to play. Cat absolutely hates the puppy, so I'm using the exchanging smell tip – I sleep with the pup, so I definitely smell like her, then I give my cat tons of love and pets. I think it's somewhat working; the cat is still hissing and charging at the pup, but less trying to swat at and scratch.
I have a 3 year old Jack/chi mix dog and on Saturday my little brother is bringing over a 10 week old kitten he found in a mechanic garage. I don’t think my dog will hurt it, I’m more worried about jealousy and him trying to be protective of me. I have everything in place for the cat to have its own space and for their introduction to be gradual. I think as soon as my dog knows there is something in the spare room he will be barking at the door. Wish me luck.
Iam 16 iam getting a kitten this summer break iam doing my reserch on how to train it and other stuff i have a dog whos a poodle mix hes very good with cats so i hope my dog and new kittrn become friends
I just got a little kitten and I already have an older siberian husky. Luckily, I think it will work out. My siberian husky is very docile.
My cat is the most passive non agressive being ever, my male cat is alpha dominant, ( the pair works wonder obviously ), my new puppy arrived and she understand boundaries with the alpha but the little one has no respect from the puppy and doesn’t even fight back not even swat/ hiss .. she will let the dog bully her.. the only thing I’m working on is rewarding every time the dog ignores her or stop paying attention, it will hopefully work out !
After cat him and dog she i stopped the clip… to much woke so i extept the clip to be the same shiiiet

Ive had a cat for 3 years and now I'm getting a dog i hope they'll get along
Its tough when you have a high prey type of breed. Rottweiler/German Shepherd Its a battle
Sounds like man and woman
I was able to get two dogs to accept my cat whom I've had for many years. The first was my dog that we addopted during pandemic. As he is a terrier his first reaction was to want to destroy the cat. But we made it very clear from the start that he wasnt allowed to say a thing to the cat as he also has a right to be in this house. We never left them on their own and always reacted to any signs of aggression by removing the dog from the room. He quickly learned that if he disrepects the cat he won't get to stay with us in the same room and hung out with us so he figured best thing to do is to leave the cat alone.
Couple years on and we had friend's dog staying with us for a few months. We were worried him and the cat wont get along and indeed dog reacted to the cat with a lot of suspicion and fear of unknown but we took the approach of slowy introducing them to each other by allowing the cat to be in the room when he could be seen by a dog (through a glass door). Once they got used to that we allowed dog into the room while the cat was in the crate. After a few days cat decided to get out and the dog freaked out a bit but we started to telling no and he calmed right down. We petted them alonside each other and they relaxed completely. After that there was no problem anymore.
Our dogs and cats treated each other like the other do not exist.
About the meal swapping thing. My dog is a Maltese and has a very sensitive stomach so can I still swap their food?
I am thinking about about getting a puppy & kitten for my next Fur babies so they can grow up together. ♥️
Bro I saw a cat today,I adopted it and my freaking dog is fighting it
