I know that there are many things in the Harry Potter movies in the game. Some that I even discovered. But I was expecting something that they didn't said. About the one eyed witch passageway that leads to Honey dukes cellar that was in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Fred and George gave to Harry the Marauders Map on how to get to Hogsmeade more faster. And about the headmaster Phineas Black, and that he was in the walls of the family tree of Sirius, I thought the game takes place in the future after Harry graduated not hundreds of years in the past.
There's a river where i was fighting one of those bog things and that dragon on the map came down and swooped it up from me. It was scary but atleast i got the tongue lol
The Phineas Black reference in the Black family tapestry in the movies, actually somewhat settles one of the mysteries about Hogwarts Legacy. When does it take place? It looks like he lived from 1847 until 1975. Which should put this well before Voldemort etc.
😐 except the easter egg about rules is… from the book, as Filtch had this growing list of things that were "illegal" I believe in first book it was over 100 different things, in the second it was 200, I'm not sure how it progressed further.
Another easter egg can be found if you use the Arachnophobia mode: the spiders get roller skates, a reference to Prisoner of Azkaban and what Ron turned his boggart into ☺☺
fun fact the first time i found out about the armor suit humming easter egg i only heard it from the next room over in the map because i ran through that hallway so quickly and when i came back through i was super confused why the one suit of armor was all dead on the floor and the other one was still

The dragon actually appears in the same place as on the map
I found a stuffed figure of the Troll from the first book somewhere in Hogwarts (I cant remember where now),
I can confirm that the dragon in the map does show where the dragon is flying. I accidentally ran into it not realizing that the same dragon from earlier in the game is right there. It shows where the dragon is and you can meet it in game while you are flying.

Without his aid, Snape and Dumbledore wouldn’t have known where to plant Godric Gryffindor’s Sword, or where to send the patronus

You can actually see the snake symbol on the side of the faucet leading to the Chamber of Secrets if you look closely enough.

The Hippogriff tombstone near Hagrids hut was a homage to Robbie Coltrane. The actor who played Hagrid. Who had died in the months before the game released.
I love how in the trophy room there some elf armor that says it was given to an elf by a master who wanted the elf to protect him but was to stupid to realize the armor was clothes. Reminds me of Lucius giving dobby the diary and being too stupid to notice harry had stuffed a sock in it 😅😅
