I’m not in the habitat section and I’m already sick of the game. All it is is the same close quarter basement monsters over and over and over again and it’s honestly dog sh*t. Compelling story but the gameplay is terrible
Is this VR?
Played on PS5 in Quality Mode, probably the most cinematic looking game I've experienced. If you have a high-end OLED TV it's mind blowing.
The visuals and audio are superb. I understand the overall complaints about the combat, but honestly once you understand the mechanics it's a lot of fun. The animations are so well made, especially the death animations.
My main gripe with this game is the story, it starts off really strong but fumbles completely at the end. It had potential to be so much better.
I would rank this game 7.8/10.
With every AAA and high end release that appears, each time, it is like a case-study against the decision to pre-order. When it comes to the mighty PS5, there should be no different modes of quality vs performance, it should be one overall excellent package. Your take on the game was good though, keep it up!

It’s a fun game I was just annoyed that you get the suit that’s all over the trailers and box art at basically the end of the game smh.
this is the first game i've refunded on Steam in a long time. it was essentially unplayable at launch with stuttering and frame drops even at really low settings. also, not a fan of the melee heavy combat. just really disappointed all around 😞
Really enjoyed the game for the most part. A little rough around the edges but not bad for a new ip and studio.
It's been a great time to be a survival horror fan the last few years. Looking forward to Dead Space and RE4 remakes soon!

I just bought this yesterday for the PS5. I just played without the update, and It did crash twice. So I'm going to update and see what happens. It is a fantastic looking game. Thank you for the video.

I am really enjoying Callisto Protocol. I do wish the game had the ability to switch targets. the "soft" lock-on does not really work at close range and is probably the most frustrating part about the game. visually it is one of the best-looking games i have played.

I have been playing on ps5 and it’s been awesome. I like the combat system just have to watch no one gets behind you. There has been a couple areas where lots of enemies show up and that can be tough. But overall I don’t get the hate at least not on ps5. It’s a well made game from what I played so far. I do agree with the saves that can be annoying
Great review. I'll defo grab this at some point, probably early into the new year as I've got a bit of a backlog, so hopefully between now and then they would have sorted a lot of the bugs out.
