Hey all, apologies for the Media Pending section of the video! I have no idea why it didn't render out the clip. But with the tone of my video, I really can't blame that one clip for wanting to bow out… Zoe
Having bought this cheap out of sheer curiosity I’m adding an 8 and 9 to the 7 of Zoe’s I already agree with. 8 – this is an open world game in which you will have no open world agency for 3 hours. It’s entirely cut scene, walk between cutscene or, and I’m not kidding, it teaching you crafting at length 2.5 hours in. And 9 – the beginning of the game has a massively triggering pet based section that has no plot based benefit really and I know doesn’t even pay off properly at the end. There is nothing that would change in the game if you omitted that detail.
Infusing a medievalesque fantasy mmorpg world with a modern, pop culture influenced dialogue could be fun if it was made to work right. The voiceovers don't seem to match the content.

This is the worst game review I have ever watched. Half of the issues are just personal. Saying that she was called a monster because she was black, looks like you did not play the game and that black reviewers can tell you that is just crazy. You had some points like dumb cutscenes, to empty, boring hub, bad dialog and dodge/freerun is a hit or miss.

For me forspoken is pretty dull and it is truly sad because the game have so much potential the magic system and Parkour is amazing but the game itself feels dead.
Most of this was nitpicking preference crap…
Oh and the parkour combat mechanic is actually pretty fun if you can get the hang of it sadly it does requires you to get good to experience the full depth of the combat system but if your use to action rpgs youll get the flow down quickly and enjoy fast paste combos. It’s definitely an upgrade from square Enix FFXIV combat system lol whose main protagonists were more then a bit “quirky” ..even for jrpg standards 😂
You can’t complain about a game having a lot of cut scenes in the beginning lol most open world rpgs games have a lot more. after the first couple hours the game sets you free to explore, honestly the game is lacking cutscenes later on it really could use more scenes to explain the lore and world building beside putting majority of it in books and notes you have to find and read to get a real understanding of the world

Apparently Forspoken cost Square Enix $100 million to make, money they probably aren't making back because the game flopped. There goes the next Kingdom Hearts game.

A lot of people who are hating on Forspoken have never actually played the game or played very little of it, and never even finished the game. A lot of people never actually touched Mass Effect Andromeda or Metal Gear Survive, so they don't even know how great those games are. The point is your not going to know how much you'll enjoy a game, unless you play it all the way through. I completed Forspoken. I have 100% completion and the Platinum trophy on PS5. People nowadays are too lazy to play something themselves. Many people who don't like Forspoken, have never actually been interested in the game to begin with, otherwise they would have tried the game themselves. Some people haven't even played the demo, but yet they want to hate on this game. Anyways, I waited a whole year for Forspoken to release, and I am very impressed with it.
I agree with everything said here. I have no interest in who the character is or her troubles, I honestly cared more about her cat at the beginning. Took way to long to get into the magic world then still had a couple cut scenes to get past. Plus for people a bit title came from a big company the characters look like they been whipped from a ps3 game. They even look like puppets when talking. So far im only interested in the magic and fighting.
Im really hoping Diablo 4 doesnt do the same mistakes this game has done.
But then again the company whos making this game isnt in any way better than Square Enix
