Hey GameSpot I found out a cool trick if you use black knife while he pulls you with gravity it stops you from getting pulled but some times he spams it after that

Can see why this boss is so hated. They ruined the whole tough but far thing fromsoft is usually so good at. It's just ridiculous and not fun
That's me finish with Elden Ring thankfully, cannot be arsed spending the next 10 hours trying to get lucky! Basically, I finished everything in the game and 80 % of the DLC felt like a complete grind for no pay-off.
Am I the only one lucky enough that the game glitched and he died without me even stepping foot in the boss area?…😮 I watch the video to even see what this fight would have even looked like.😅
I wish we could have multiple saved files. I refuse to start a NG+ after going through all this.

How do i avoid the explosion attack when he shoots in to the sky when he's super low health and slams into the ground causing a massive explosion? I don't know how to avoid this and it keeps one shotting me. Your video doesn't talk about this move.
I especially like the ‘a lot of luck’ line. Definitely the case in phase 2. No ref to the R sky attack?
trying for 2 hours to defeat this boss. Now trying to learn all what you say and use it against him. hiopefully it helps I dont want to use help from other players ^^

just beat him today. Took me 10 hours smh but well worth the struggle
He's the final boss? Lame. And easy.
There's 2 more attacks in phase two, both from the air not mentioned here. One in which he crosses his swords and does an X attack that he ends with a gravity aoe attack, and the other is similar to the one smashing the ground but instead of an AOE attack he only send a line of damaging light in front of him.
I stopped relying purely on dodging and carried a shield to block parts of his combo. It helped ALOT! Block & dodge accordingly.
The gravity attack can be dodged when he pulls you close by running away and jumping before the spike shoot out from the ground
Thorns + mimic = killed first try lol
Anybody got any tips for a pure Int mage? I feel like I'm gonna have to just keep chipping away with small spells cause that's all he ever gives time for.
honestly, if you’re looking for help, just get better
I thought people were just being overblown because every boss in the DLC I flew through no problem just using a pure strength build but then I got to this dude. Took me like 20-30 tries and I feel like I just got lucky. Dodging into him seems to help avoid the BS aftershock attacks in his second phase.
This boss its not even challenge its just a joke
Not a fun boss at all, don’t get a chance to do anything. Poor hit boxes and too many effects on my screen to see what’s happening. Don’t even get anything good or an achievement🤷🏻♂️just new game plus and watch someone else beat him
This boss is crazy solo, with a mimic tear, or with 2 coop players. I dont know how I am going to beat him without some crazy luck and an OP coop player.
By the meteor attack run to the side and jump when they come. This works 100% to me
