No one can beat your work. You are more than amazing 😂❤❤
Wow! amazing!
I learned a lot
Thank you so much Sir!
literally thank you so much?? idk if im just stupid but this was the first digital painting tutorial i was actually able to correctly understand every step and feel good about the results
Good video mate, it is helping a lot. Could you please tell me what brush from your pack you are using at 6:39 please? I cant seem to find the exact one.
To fast for beginner
Really valuable stuff. Learned a lot. Thank you 😁
how did you make the textured brush for it to look rugged and jaded? At point 7:53
Thank you! this video was so helpful
noice
Thank you. This video helped me a lot, I was really stuck before seeing this tutorial
This is such an excellent tutorial in a way that it is so easy to understand and follow. You've done a fantastic job!!!
Thank you for this, working on my own project and needed some advice to make it pop! Out of interest, from start to finish, how long does something like that take you?
1. on a graph, the highest point has the most highlight, and the lowest point has the least highlight, even shadow. it peaks at the lustre. for metal to look like metal, it has to peak.
2. piece of armour. – shoulder pad.
SHADOW REALM
3. give each plate of the armour a different shade. where one plate overlaps another give extra darker shadow using smooth brush.
4. now add shadow with hard brush
5. add highlights on the rims.
6. make the metal muddy and rough by making hte highlights that way.
7. give the metal some life by adding random colours.
8. give it scratches.
9. increase contrast.
Thank you bro 👊👊
This was awesome.reslly helped.just couldn't get the textured brush part at 8:00 used to make the metal look more dense and painterly . Where do I get that sort of brush from?can I recreate the same effect with just a round brush?
Thank you so much I’m working on this piece. She’s a space girl and she has metal straps. This helps me a lot.❤
Thx a lot !!!
Shoulder armor details are good
I'm glad this was here. I've been trying to draw meta knight, but now I have an idea where to begin with his mask.
I'd been struggling to draw a metal thing for ages before this but this instantly helped me out
Thank you that was helpful 👍
Great tutorial! Just so you know, a channel called "NIK ARTIST 89" completely copied this video down to the script and is presenting it as his own material. I was going to report it but YouTube wouldn't do anything since I'm not the original creator.
Great video, very helpful. Those "shoulder pads" on armour are called pauldrons, just FYI
how do you make those shapes with lasso so smooth? mine look like made with blunt scissors ;(
Sorry I've watched your vid a couple of times lustre is pronounced luster like meter or metre. The fact that I've watched it couple of times makes it a good video and worthy of a sub, so no real grief. 👍
What would you do with a shiny bright metal in the dark? Most tutorials just cover daytime reflections, but I'm not really sure how to apply that to somwhere where it's nighttime with a fire in the distance
What pens you use for these?
Great video!! Clear and to the point which I really appreciate. Thank you!
I love your tutorial series and they've helped my art a lot! I was wondering if you'd be willing to do a video on hair or fur in the future? That'd be super helpful!
"for beginners" yeah sure XD, anyway, really helpful <3 thank you
Your videos are very helpful for me .. thank you!..
I have a request… recently i was looking for how to create buildings.. sci-fi futuristic building concept.. but I rarely found any on YouTube.. and as I love the way you explain and show how’s it’s done .. can you make a video on that?
What an incredible tutorial!! The graph explanation was a new way to think about rendering that kinda blew my mind. LOL! Thanks!
Up until like the 7 minute mark of this video I can manage, but somehow after that some magic happens I just cannot wrap my head around. The ''uneven metallic look'' is something I just cannot do… it always looks like dirt in my paintings. And not just in metallic objects, but any texture I'm trying to paint.
Lot's of people think anatomy and figure drawing is the hardest, but I really think it's shading and texturing.
Great tutorial, one of the best I've seen without a doubt!
could you do something for water and sweat?
TNice tutorials is a terrible turorial. He plows through info at a speed that doesn’t allow you to follow, or actually absorb anytNice tutorialng.
> Makes metal painting tutorial
> No music
I came here to learn about metal texture and unexpectedly blown away of your layer technique. This will save me SO much time painting, Thanks! 🤜🤛
Clay and wood
For me your channel is a gold mine
Wow, this is very very useful, I'll make sure to try this in my next drawing 🙂
However I do have to say, a realistic armor won't have rust, unless of course the knight doesn't care about their armor. But even then it's still useful and good to know how to apply a rusty look to metal objects.
gigantic thanks to you ✨
Thanks
thank you!
