Realme is expected to launch the GT7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the device landed with us ahead of its official announcement next week.
We just received the phone and can’t wait to start testing it, so here are our quick impressions of the new phone.
We received the orange color option of the GT7 Pro, which looks pretty impressively. The camera island houses three shooters and is pretty massive.
Design-wise, Realme is clearly steering away from the two-circle solution on a vertical design element we’ve seen so much in the GT 6 devices and goes back to the GT3 with 240W charging.
Realme GT5 Pro & Realme GT7 Pro
The new display is truly vibrant at a first glance with incredibly rich colors, and Realme already confirmed it cover 120% DCI-P3 color gamut. The panel is called Eco2 OLED and is developed by Samsung, which is a surprising move by Realme, since other flagships from the same family, like OnePlus 13 and Oppo Find X8, are choosing to go with BOE.
There is an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the panel, and it’s as snappy as they come. The display is slightly curved (2.5D in the company’s marketing lingo) from all four sides, and this decision makes the screen feel bigger with thinner bezels.
The Realme GT7 Pro is a very promising device, and we will take our time to work on the full review. But before that stay tuned for the official announcement, scheduled for Monday, October 4.
