I am a poet and find my ai produces deeply emotional work. I don't see how anyone can copy it. Artists should copyright the work and download and frame. Then, sell through an art dealer. That's how I sell my art. I am saddened by theft and scams on the internet. People worry about ai. I think they should be looking at the dangers of the internet.
I don't buy any wall art on the internet anymore. The internet has a way of dressing it up more than it looks. Do you ever notice when you see a commercial wall art you can't comment on it. They don't want you to comment there is no place to put comments. Because it's crap!
This argument can be likened to artists trashing photography .. to digital art .. to now

bruh im an artist for 6 years and this AI generator made my life more easier whenever i do art it takes a like 1-5 hours to find a good artwork to start with its hard to look for inspiration thats why when AI started it made it easier although it still takes time especially when choosing the best results..so im not mad it

AI art is a cheat and a scam and is a slave to the software and algorithms that can be turned on and off at will. The ones who created the AI have committed treason to humanity. The whole idea and concept of art is not present in AI art, the whole point of being human and the emotion of real life to death, time, space, emotion Etc…experience the whole of existing as a being good bad indifferent expressed thru the multitude of mediums of and created by and directly from self. AI can "Learn" all it wants by means of "5G"The Internet of everything and what have you but its "ART" is not art in the sense of what it means to be human and alive. At best it will mimic it Artificially, hens AI. !!!
Your claim that you'd have to be 100% sure that the image was 100% made using AI to avoid getting into copyright trouble if you tried to resell is just wrong. The "original" work that you have prompted (not created, as you didn't create the image) is not copyrightable, and you'd only be able to copyright the alterations if they are significant changes (AND it would only be the alterations that could be copyrighted). Minor tweaks and alterations are not copyrightable, so it would have to be significant changes AND you would have to have made those yourself. Mixing stuff from different prompts would not work.
Let's be honest this is about to go dead .. but .. I am desperate enough to give it a try.
This "tool" couldn't exist at all without ripping off basically every artist on the planet.
Everyone using AI should lose their shops altogether. The technology itself is built entirely on theft, and even if it isn't technically illegal it is immoral and reprehensible. Everyone using it should be ashamed.
Regarding copyright laws. Let’s say the majority of it is created by AI but then we put our own human flare of the finish artwork…would that be able to be copyrighted?

If you do ai art you are a creative director. Great artists steal. Get over it. You know how many artworks that have been resold and inspired from other works. Like girl stop this self righteous bs because you’re afraid that AI will outdo your work. I’m a writer, ai can now do what I do. I’m not going to cry and write a song about it though. Stop whining. AI allowed me to design fashion, something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. I literally have a photoshoot this month for my ai generated clothing. It changed my life. If you don’t like it then don’t use it.
Images. Not art. And you are not and artist if you generate AI art. Thats like saying you paid someone to make art for you then selling it to other people, claiming you are the artists.
If I use my own art or photography to create an AI image I wonder I could legally sell them on Etsy? These images have already been through copyright.
