You saw, and now you blind again
You met a most worth thing, and now you close your eyes again
Why?
The game sucks balls you miss one secret guess what you won't be able to go back trash game wish i could get a refund for it
You can't spell "ignorance" without IGN.
I stopped reading and patronizing anything IGN-related years ago. Hope they go the way of Concord. ✌️
It chineas its good, its creative and its excellent quality and most important is not dumb enough for westernlets slop eaters.
Your videos are interesting man!—nice work.
I will say I’ve heard you say a couple of times that you’re tired of the in your face politics in games (can’t say I disagree), but at the same time you’re clearly playing to an audience and at the least “encouraging” an agenda…if you want games to be about games then focus on that.
The comment section looks a lot like an echo chamber. Which is fine, but if you start playing to them you’ll lose the high ground you currently hold over the Industry…
Keep digging though! You clearly have an inquisitive mind and a unique voice (*in the writing sense) 👍
I don't entirely agree with your perspective here. To suggest that the behaviour of a company should not be considered so long as they make good games, reduces your consumption to totally amoral consumerism and has real Fox News "Shut up and play" vibes. When you buy sneakers, you care if they were made by children; when you buy phones, you care if the batteries are made by slave labour.
The context surrounding the production of the things we consumer very much matters. That's why it's critically important that people reporting on that are not fabricating drama to harm good products.
I don't buy EA games because the company addicts kids to gambling. I don't buy Ubisoft games because the CEO is a sex abuse enabler. I don't buy Borderlands games at full price, because the CEO is a POS.
Each person's threshold is their own to decide, but saying "All that matters is the game" is about the most immoral stance imaginable.
Just know that there is no way the CPP is not involved, the game is either a propaganda tool or a spyware.
This is like the blizzard quote about classic wow except its anout a good game they hate because its PC "You dont actually like this game, you think you do but you dont"
-SJW freaks and jurnos
IGN is a joke
That is what happened to the media controlled by the elites, they try to control our thoughts and behaviours.
I just want s hard copy, that the only reason i haven't bought it yet
Imagine even caring about "sexism" at all, what a joke
Wukong was born from a big rock, so it is unisex. The developers are making 'slave' salaries according to the standard from the west, but could be the best on year-end bonus.
I will never show any form of support to the game that is owned by Chinese communist-marxist propaganda! Worse than woke by a LOT!!!
This is how Western media have described things from developing countries, especially those they see as strategically unfriendly, for a long time, by using mistranslations and hearsay as "evidence" in smear campaigns. I think publications like IGN just got used to it and thinking people will happily jump on yet another "China bad, Chinese bad" bandwagon.
Glad to see more people are waking up to it.
10:00 – Oh, they know, they don't care. I will bet every one of them would characterize what they think the developers did as "shitting the bed." And not get the hypocrisy of doing so.
lol fk ign no one cares about them. What gives them the confidence to judge the most classic Chinese Mythology that is even hundreds of years older than this country? Pathetic political journalism company ruining the video game market.
all asian casts are not diverse apparently
They want to push their political ideology down the throat of gamers, like ubisoft and many other western companies do. Funny how they Scream «Cultural appropiation» when white people dress up in clothes that represent «mexican and chinese culture».
Yet they seem to love to push other «minorities» and people in games in that path, without any backlash.
And no, I am not white, I am latinomixed.
People who buy things based on morals do exist and boycotts that have lost some companies billions, are evidence of that. I'm fine with boycotting companies based on their treatment of employees, people and society, but you're right that these anti-China attacks are disingenuous.
If they put diversity like races ppl who are a mythology nerd will go angry and its not worth playing because it feel like watching black Ariel.
“were holding a heavy machine gun and shooting at governments in your dreams, what the ladies are dreaming about are bags that would make their friends jealous.” the lead art director and co founder, Yang Qi. If a game director said something similar about men I think you all would lose your shit.
No women 1/10
IGN
Gamers may have spent 40+ hours playing and reading but it’s also about over 4 years of game development, a tale every Chinese know their whole life and a story which lasted 4 centuries plus 2500 years of Buddhism ideas and 5000 years of Chinese history and architecture. That’s why it’s amazing. I just realise how little I know about my own culture and I have a lot of reading up to do now! Thanks for your video!
It's a game from China. Makes sense these "journalists" didn't want to see it succeed, with the amount of sinophobic shit they've been fed by western media.
Westerners talk about diversity of culture being great until that culture goes against their fragile expectations of social justice. What else is new?
