The dead animations are really meh for me ( example big monsters grabs me and punches my face over and over and the face doesn't even get deformed it bruised, on other instance the same enemy can shear trough my body with one punch…)

The game runs like butt.
The twist is … enh? If you find all the secret rooms it's also not a twist at all.
the endless OH NO ANOTHER THING GOT SCARY moments… there's one sequence where it literally happens FOUR TIMES IN TWO MINUTES when you meet with Elias the second time. I'll take "what the fuck is proper pacing" for 1000, Alex.
Using analog controls for any kind of defense or evasion is… fucking dumb. It just is.
Final weapon upgrades are heehaw expensive for what they do aside from the skunk gun and pistol.
Tac pistol and machine gun are trash.
It's a fun game but there is essentially no reason to replay it… unless they add that reason with season pass? (seriously wtf the end will be in a season pass update )
🙁 I trust you but man, i really wanted another good Dead Space experience, it may be enjoyable but i wanted some really good cosmic/lovecraftian horror, i wonder if it's that hard to make a good writing within a given time.
Also want to point out that 'Subject Zero' is mentioned throughout the game, but only using non gendered language. I think they're setting it up to be female. Likely they either think it will be a 'twist', or because it will turn out to be Danny's sister or the doctors daughter.
People keep talking about Dead Space, but the plot is much more like The Expanse book series, which im ok with. It's limited to the solar system, the main character is a cargo ship captain who's ship is destroyed by terrorists, he's brought into a dark conspiracy that revolves around unethical scientists who want to improve humanity for Space colonization. These scientist found an alien contagion on one of the moons of Saturn, the contagion twists and warps living tissue for some unknown purpose, the scientists infect isolated colonies to study the effects, the protagonist is trying to escape an outbreak while also fighting the shady cabal trying to sacrifice human lives for the sake of progress.
It's really hard not to shit on this game, even for a AAA game. It really feels like they didn't get a whole lot to use since EA gutted them for all the good shit about their ip
