I wonder if it might have been better to try and negotiate with the Custodian after putting it in a position of weakness. You allow it to live and move on to whatever other world, in exchange for the two other humans and the secrets of faster than light technology and other loot er I mean gifts.
They should’ve reused the second boss fight if they were gonna do this, loved the king’s design
