Well my cat's scratch the wall going down my hall and by the outdoor. I put cat posts there and that doesn't stop them

when i’m sleeping my cat will be on my floor and jump up on my bed really fast and scratch the hell
out of my face i can’t help not getting mad.

I have 2 cats. Mother and daughter. The daughter started peeing everywhere except the litter box. She would poop there but never pee. A woman from a local rescue told me about having multiple boxes and saved my cats life!! I chased her around with a steam cleaner for a year. It was solved overnight. One box for every cat plus one!! She is such a delight now and she can sleep in my bed at night again. She will still pee on my folded laundry if I leave it out, but that's nothing compared to what it was like.

The best thing that actually worked for most of my cats, was trying to replicate them. So when a cat is angry and she doesn't like something, she makes that angry sound, so I replicate that sound when they do something I don't like and they instantly stop. But you have to practice the sound, so mimic as realistic/cat sounding as possible.
I always tried to replicate the sounds and behaivor of my cats, from happy/playing to being mad or annoyed and it always worked, remember don't be a human with them, be a cat.

Omg , electric collars, are ppl mad , I / my son brought a kitten home, and I am in love , the kittens my son,s who,s 19, and the kitten loves him, it is amazing to me as his mum watching the live ❤shared by the 2 of them ❤. How could anyone think of hurting them , yes no doubt they can be wild, I have an 11 year old fog, who's mot very happy about another pet in the house,its going to take time to introduce them enough to be comfortable with the dog of her leash and the kitten roaming free, I never thought I would ever have another cat I had 1 about 30 years ago, and I was so terrified of cats and dogs I would actually cry my eyes out if a cat came near me and I would stiffen up like it was some monster when young , my husband and I were cat sitting our friends cat and house now this little cat, I was terrified and pregnant and this little black cat was awesome then 1 night it came close and in those days we had gas fires, the flame wasn't very well protected, and the cats tail went on fire I jumped into action putting the flames out with my hands and the little thing ran away from me I left it csuse I knew the fire was out abd checked my hands washed them ect and sat back down fir the cat to then come back to me and then actually rub itself allover my legs I was guessing it was saying Thank you for putting the fire out ❤, that night my husband and I went to bed, during the night I woke to my husband, diving out the bed onto the floor lol 😅, the cat had only peed on him but not me lol 😅, that little cat was my wee friend, I was a teenager and never had a clue, and we never had Awesome ppl like Jackson to help us to care for our kittens , our wee kitten is 11 weeks old this Sunday 20th October 2024 . Hopefully by January the dog and cat can bare eachother, I think my dog might have had a past trauma , so I'm gonna buy a doll kitten for this next attempt and ofcourse plenty height , I. E cat run,s and a hotel for him infront of the window, I got him a lovely cat bed, never went near it, however I did catch the huge dog in it lol ❤.
I believe there's a new joy to the house a new sense of calm, weather it be the full moon for lunacy 😅 or its the ❤ love 💘. Either 1 is fine and dandy by me.

I came across this video today and I went and got the sticky tape and the ssscat motion sensor spray. The sticky tape did not work. It just made them walk funny across my counter 😂 but the spray has gone off twice and each time my cats seem so traumatized and I’m finding it really hard to feel okay with doing that to them.

Yes my new kitty had the chaotic zoomies on the bed where he was messing with the blankets and I have yet tried to cut his nails and yesterday so someone else scolded him and he was scared all the way to the early morning. Which we both felt really bad about so I was trying to comfort him to relieve his stress for the remainder of the night and the morning. And we did play with him for a good while before that so I thought he was mellowing out for the day. Next time should I just give him his toys and then try to slowly lure him down the bed. As I'm not sure how to make the environment of the bed say no to him. That was his first time on the bed too and right before the chaos he was so cute just dozing off on the bed but the 2nd the blanket came out the zoomies hit as i noticed he loves to play with blanks so I'm gonna give him a little rough towel for floor play and not take out the blankets near him.

I've always had dogs, I've recently rescued a cat from someone and he does not listen at all. I'll be honest I feel like I'm having a meltdown, he scratches everywhere, constantly goes where he's not supposed to, I literally feel like I have lost my freedom since having him 😂 my dog is brilliant with him, but he keeps pouncing on her with his claws out and it's making me nervous to leave them alone, i noticed this morning she has a scram on her face. I can't leave him anywhere alone because he wrecks the place, I'm sat here crying, hiding in the bathroom writing this because he is really stressing me out so much, I have always been an animal lover and always wanted a cat since my childhood cat ran away. Now though I feel like I am stuck between keeping the cat out of love, because he is really affectionate, but I really just can't cope with how naughty he is. I've had him less than a week, but I'm really struggling when I'm home alone with him because I can't do anything. I can't even make a cup of coffee because he's trying to put his foot in there, he's pinching the dogs food, our food literally off our plates and even eating his litter when he has a full bowl of food. Going to watch this video but if anyone has any extra tips or advice please let me know, I have always thought rehoming animals is cruel, the poor boy has already been rehomed once before I got him, but I just really cannot cope

Well, considering that this is a year old, I am guessing that I won't hear from anyone. But if doesn't matter and you all don't mind, I want to share a mind-blowing story. Ok, I go to work Friday night and I am walking my normal rounds, and here is this cat staring at me and meowing at me. I ask what to do you want? I have no food. She did that to me for the next three nights. So, now she is standing across from me on this third night. I said, ok if I can get you some food I will feed you. two min. later some come out and tells me I am going to the store; do you need anything. So, now I am like wow, how does this happen? so yes, I feed her, two later took her home. Five days later, she gave birth. These kittens are 13 weeks old now. but I have to tell you that me being a Marine, it was tough. I did many things you said we should not do. But the most interesting thing. Mom knows when I am upset, and she will run under the couch. Another mind-blowing thing. Mom will tell on her kittens. It is like she knows what I am thinking. For example, she meows in a location. As if telling me they pooped over here. Now, to cut this short, to tell you we all have a good relationship now. I do need to work on something, which is why I am watching your video. My female cat (14 months) bullies my new wobbly cat (4 months) all the time and she is always after his food. I don’t know what to do. Please somebody help.

I used sticky tape on the curtains for my little kitten: she entangled her whole paw in it, it was almost impossible to entangle and she was so panicked and hurt. I felt like I was going to break her little paws as it was very sticky and her bones are still so fragile. A total disaster and I don't dare to use it anymore. My curtains are all destroyed but I feel irresponsible putting back the tape. Any advice?

I used the SSScat air canisters on my last cat, and it worked like a charm to keep her out of areas I didn’t want her in. It didn’t take long before I could just leave the empty can out, and she steered clear of it. They were especially helpful during Christmas to keep her away from the tree.
