Where did you get the gram scale from?😊
Okay so keeping mama alone i understand, but what about daddy cat?? should i keep him 100% away from her and the babies at first?
Dear kitten lady: thank you so much for this video. I had a spay surgery scheduled early this morning for a pregnant rescue of mine but she gave birth right before I was about to leave for the appt. I have been doing TNR for years but never dealt with a cat giving birth. Had no idea she was soooo pregnant. Previous pregnant cats I've rescued were usually very early on and the last pregnant cat turned out to have hydrometra. This video was so helpful as I spent hours with her as she gave birth doing my best to support her. She's doing a great job as a momma and this was a great resource to make sure that the momma and all SEVEN kittens are ok. Thanks for all you do! <3
While this video was quite helpful in terms of the preventions and precautions, I have now grown anxious regarding my queen cat's labor. It's my cat's second pregnancy, and I know she'll do well like she did the first time, but I'm watching every cat labor video again just in case. I actually lost a kitten out of the five from her first pregnancy since we didn't monitor the kittens. We saw that one kitten was quite skinny and not feeding on the mother's milk. I tried to save her but unfortunately couldn't, and she passed away so tiny and young. She would have had a great life; she was such a dear one. I still regret and blame myself for not checking on the kittens from time to time and leaving it all to our mother cat. Your guide on monitoring the babies' weight was quite helpful; I will make sure to do it this time and keep a check on the kittens.
Wonderful mama! Any tips for providing care to a semi-feral with 6 babies? I'm struggling to do much more than basic care since mama lashes out so quickly!
Hi a feral cat I'm friends with I invited to have her litter in my spare room. She delivered five today. The room gets hot is it ok to run the AC the mom cat is panting from the heat
i just found a moma kat and 5 kittens idk what to do
0:41 looks like the baby is waving
I ask Bella if she likes her babies 😂 she doesn’t respond LOL
I had two gingers that we adopted, was told they desexed… Definitely weren't as they both came pregnant
They gave birth a week apart we tried to keep them separate but they would always end up together and even would take turns looking after each other's babies as one mom had trouble, her sister would nurse some of hers
This was so helpful. My cat is pregnant and I’ve never had pets that have had babies before so this video covers everything I need to know. Thanks so much. Beautiful momma and kitties ❤🥰
My cat gave birth under my bed idk what to do 😭
Ik it’s two years late but does anyone have tips on letting the kittens breast feed, 5 kittens one very small mama it’s a war!
My 8 year old daughter loves you and all your videos. It would make her day if you replied and said hello. Her name is Leila
Should I keep my two pregnant cats spectate from each other?
The name 'party hat' for a kitten is so funny hahahha
Okay so the heat thing I don’t think it matters because kittens are born in the wild and survive?
Can u give me tips on how to make ur cat stop eating her kittens
Can you foster me? lol jk… No but really can you?🥸
Thank u bc I’m going get a mama cat
The video was uploaded 2y ago.
I just adopted a cat and found out she was pregnant and this video was highly recommended. Thank you, I feel much better about this whole situation!
This cat is living the life 😅
I've been feeding a stray mama cat and now she just sort of chose my doorstep as her birthing place 🥹
❤
Thank you for this great information. We just adopted a new cat—I think she's only about eight months old—and I think she's pregnant (!) and about to give birth. She hasn't even been to her first vet visit yet; that's scheduled for Wednesday, although if she has kittens in the meantime, she may not be able to keep her appointment, LOL. Six months ago we adopted another cat who I actually think is the new cat's mother; we had her spayed and vaccinated, and we keep her indoors all the time. She is quite healthy and happy. I was hoping she would be helpful in case the new cat has kittens, but I think she agitates her more than she helps her, so I'm going to isolate the mama cat upstairs to give her some peace and quiet. That's where all your tips come in handy, and I can't thank you enough. Oh, and fortunately, we have a wonderful veterinary practice right around the corner from us.
Please my cat do not want me to touch her
Such good information. If momma has fleas, do you put flea drops on the back of her neck? I saw the kittens get a bath. When the kittens get spayed or neutered, are the kittens ears clipped? Thanks.
