You don’t have to wait till you’re at the 7th dungeon to get to the third. As long as you have the hookshot (you don’t even have to finish the 5th dungeon)
Something funny that might be a glitch, if you decline an upgrade that you do have, and accept a upgrade you don’t eg. Arrows, Bombs, the upgrade does nothing, you need to buy teh bow and you instantly get the 60 arrows, same with bombs.
Finally got the 60 arrows thanks to this.

I got all three upgrades after the fifth dungeon when you get the grappling Hook
Am I the only one who heard you say 7th shrine instead of dungeon?
Actually, for the third lil devil, I only have access to the sixth shrine. I only beat five so far and I just go the lil devil now. As you saw in the video, you only need the Hookshot and the flippers. Both are in dungeons 4 and 5.

I see on one of your inventory screens, you have all the weapons, including the boomerang. Didn’t you need to trade something to get that item? What did you trade in its place?

This was a great game remake I didn't play the original version but I started this one in normal mode but my brain wanted to be in hero mode, and was wanting to have a no death play through blind. Accomplished. Easy enough scariest part is the beginning with only 3 hearts. Running back and forth between the fairy and the tail dungeon after loosing 1 heart. Was good time. Beat it in 2-3 days was sad it ended glad I got to play

Hey Austin, you can actually choose which upgrade you want by declining his upgrade. You can get the arrow or bomb upgrade from the first devil. Great video though!
