Have you tried any of these cat hacks? 🐈❤ P.S. – As always, all mentioned products are linked in the description. ⬆️
I tried the pheromone thing and what happened was my cat got angry and they said to try the spray, and I did that, and where I sprayed it at, they avoided it at all costs, which was their perch, which wasn't great.
So a lot of plants are poisonous to our cats. And a lot of people don't know which plants those are, so if you want to have plants in your house, you must research, which ones are poisonous, and which ones aren't, because no matter what we do our cap may decide it. Wants to chew on a plant, and if it does, and it happens to be poisonous, then you might as well say Goodbye to your baby, please. Please be super careful with plants and using citrus spray is okay. But it's actually not very good for them if they ingest it so I would be very careful with the citrus spray as well.
So the question that I have, the pumpkin idea is great, except for how do you get your cats to eat? Wet food, my cats will only eat dry kibble. Period they will not touch wet food at all. They turn their nose up to it.
So unfortunately, my cats don't like treats, so I'd like to know a different trick for the clipping of the nails. I haven't been able to clip their nails ever and they are eight and nine years old now and so I have to take them into the vet.And it's quite a challenge, even catching them and getting them to the vet
Lazer will blind a n animal
Don’t spray cats with water. There are motion-activated air “puffers” that you can attach to a compressed air canister to keep them off the counters.
Use it
Sir can I use sand in litter box?? Please suggest 🙏
If you think you need to clip the claws of your cat, I've a suggestion to make: DON'T GET A CAT!
trust me, cat products are just money making thing's, cats are expert in adapting to environment, healing themselves, learning owner commands and deciding their intake 😊
I’m don’t have any toys for my cat
My cats do just fine without teaching them tricks like sit. I taught them a few words, like the different meals (breakfast/breaky, lunch, supper, treats). I taught them to get down, using the word "down" with a firm enough voice to not sound angry, but making it sound important/serious. They also understand "come on" with an somewhat exciting voice. A couple of hand motion are used too. Sudden downward point to the floor is the same as saying "down". waving my hand toward me is the same as saying "come on".
Citrus is toxic to cats. Don’t use citrus spray
I got some cardboard scratchers, and my boy loved them. He had scratch my recliner by my head. The smaller boards would slap the floor, and he was all for using them instead of the couch cuz the couch didn't make that slapping noise! As long as I keep a couple of boards down, he forgets to scratch anything else.
HAIRBALLS – 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and you'll never see (or hear) another!!! Shiny coat, too!!!
All good advice except for the one about Chloe😮
my cat will sit hes a good boy 🙂
The bank soda hack is outdated. Do not ise this!! The dust can cause respiratory irritation.
I want to adopt the strays cats I'm feeding and this video answered lots of my worries!
Thank you so much! ♥️
I just saw a video saying you shouldn’t clip a cat claws
Hahahaha. Reduce your cats stress…..right after they have to jump through hoops to eat! Funny
Thanks for the wonderful tips. I use some already but you gave us some more ❤
My two cats won’t let me bathe them or clip their nails 🙃
Citrus attracts my cat. He loves the smell. He also learned how to avoid those motion activated spray canisters, but they always went off for me. He also didn't mind the sticky tape. Not all of these "hacks" will work for every cat.
Named my cat 🐈⬛ Daisy 🌼 she loved chasing a ball but I’m trying. To train her to bring it back( I know, “good luck with that” ) lol
Thanks for all the great tips! MY late cat laughed at the aluminum foil trick, and I hate scented litter and have been using baking soda forever I thought everybody knew about how baking soda was good for bad smells, but I guess they never thought about the litter box.,, Thank You another great video.
Go a step further on the carrier advice and take your cat for a ride to nowhere once a month. That way he won't associate the carrier only with vet visits. Put treats in the carrier and let him ride with you when you drop off or pick someone up, get food at the drive thru, etc. He'll not only get used to the carrier but also car rides.
Excellent tips! Much appreciated, planning cat adoption ❤
excellent video! thanks
i love almost all of your 'hacks' , however, my sons cat nearly died from that Feliway plug in. I don't think these are safe.
Never ever cut the claws from a cat.
I think the naming the cat one is just rubbish, your cat will learn any name you give it,and when it hears it ,it will know it’s them, they are very intelligent animals
30 minutes … I wish … not mine … at least 2 hours each plus them playing with each other … zzz active kitties.
Aluminum foil to keep cats off the counter DOES NOT WORK. I woke up with little bits of foil EVERYWHERE.
Dusty is the best cat name
The sight of a cat coughing out a hairball is borderline witnessing them spitting out a demon
Impossible if you got Farrell kittens and they would not let you touch their feet and you tried 1000 times I’ve tried every technique out there now I need something is a scratching board that would file them down on their own. If you have any suggestions It would be great because they don’t have anything that I can find online. They are now seven years old.
Do not cut your cat's claws? Especially if they get out from time to time.
My kitten played with the aluminum foil. 😒
Yes, and brushing also helps with prevention of fur balls. Unscented litter and baking soda … absolutely! Yes, a box, blanket or pedestal next to your workspace, they just want to be near you, so give them a designated spot just for them.
#12 at 6:28 If your cat is dragging its butt on the floor like it showed in the video clip, that means their anal glands need to be "expressed". Take them to the vet and they can help you. It is not typical in cats (mostly in dogs) but it does happen. Both my cats have it and need their glands expressed monthly. Fortunately we found a groomer who does walk in appointments for both dogs and cats. It's not an emergency situation but if you don't address it it can lead to more significant health problems.
Do not declaw your cat!
Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I keep a carrier out 24/7& my cats avoid it like the plague
Y'all. I just rescued a year old mackerel tabby (so cute) but she was keeping me awake at night. I tried the tip to wear her out with exercise before bed last night and it was the first night she slept all the way through. Thank you!
I just learned about putting my cats' food on plates instead of in the bowls that came with the feeder form. Cats whiskers are incredibly sensitive and continuous rubbing on the sides of bowl is extremely uncomfortable because of the constant stimulation. Also they would always leave a ring of uneaten crunchies around the outside of the bowl. This often ended up with my throwing away a lot of food and since they eat vet-approved special food it was expensive. Cats will also leave bits of dropped food around their dishes. This is not to annoy you; cats can't see directly in front of them close up and they don't notice. A plastic placemat with a non-skid bottom works great and can easily washed with plain soap and water.
the first one is cruel ! never clip your cats nails !
