Puppy training is tough!! Hope you guys enjoy this series!! Be sure to "like" the video!! ❤
Hey what’s your opinion on feeding them raw food, I’m conflicted because I hear some people including I believe the FDA which disagree with raw since they don’t believe there is any health benefits and there are many risks. I have a brand new dachshund mini puppy and I can’t decide whether I want to feed him kibble rehydrated and with toppers or feed him raw and toppers. What do you suggest?
Help! We will be bringing our puppy home the week of Christmas and when it comes to the first night, where does the puppy sleep if we are crate training during the day slowly? How do you properly crate train slow and steady if they go in a crate that first night home?
Sound machine ? Which one ?
Just because you chose the smallest pup does not mean he will remain the smallest pup❤❤😂😂😂
sorry Tom, but the first night was he ever in the crate or did he just roam in your room? What was your process?
I'm thankful for your videos I'm bringing home a cane Corso and mannnn you just showed me how much work I'm a have to put it but I also have a Belgian mallionois so Im ready
I’m slow lol- what is his breed? mastiff?
Just bought your video. I adopted a 2 year old dog last month. Shelter didn't quite have the breed right. Took him to the vet and found out he is a Belgium Malinois. I love this doggo! His training is going really well. I will continue watching your videos. Thank you.
What do you do with the dog the first few nights if you are not closing the door for crate training yet?
He looks so self conscious pottying lol
I have a question my puppy has been staving herself bc she doesn't want to eat her kibble and idk what to do
Where is he sleeping if not in the crate? Just curious. We pick up our new viszla in three weeks so this series is perfectly timed!
Rarely do I find a video where the creator is actually more interested in doing right by the dogs in their care, than just putting on a show. Wonderful, and ACCURATE info is hard to find these days. Thank you for your willingness to share and I look forward to watching a lot more of your videos. Boerboel's are a dream (that is likely to stay a dream) dog, and since they are so formidable it is nice to see a creator walk everyone through the nitty gritty aspects of dog training and not just the surface common sense stuff. Much appreciated
Gaaahhhh I love him! Love how stocky he is! I've adopted all my dogs except one, a dobie, way back in '09. I currently have a boxer/pyrenees & an akita/mastiff that has been so amazing, I would like to get a purebred akita somewhere down the line…maybe, cause it is a lot of work and she doesn't get along great with other dogs, which looks to be about the standard for the breed from what ive read so far. She's made it a little tough to be able to board her if i want to take a trip, but overall, she's so sweet and protective without alarm barking like my other dog will. He's the first line of defense, and she kind of stands back, very stull and focused assessing the situation, and it just cracks me up to see them in action. Love love love big dogs!
oh my goodness, he's so precious!!!
gosh i remember day 1 of bringing my then german shepherd puppy home (she might be partially mixed with dutchie or malinois, uncertain. she looks like a bigger version of lakota with less brindle honestly – head/neck shape is closer to those breeds than a german shepherd.)
night 1, she literally jumped over the baby gate in the area i set up for her so she wouldn't get into anything… she was right at 3 months old and hadn't been in a home before. a few days later, i vacuumed. she wasn't scared of it at all, but she did hate the noise. super confident smart dog! she literally made the connection that the plug powered it, and unplugged it when i looked away for 5 seconds….( i was in the same room ofc, and she ran behind me and unplugged it. wild!!)
needless to say, my local dog trainer said she'd been one of the smartest dogs he'd ever worked with, LOL. i felt like a proud dog mom. she's 3 years old now, 90lbs, and so amazing! 🙂 doesn't really care much about other ppl or dogs apart from her dog sister who she adores. (a lot of neutrality, which i have no problem with. she could be very protective when she was a pup to an adolescent, and working w/ her for neutrality was the goal much like with Mr. Burleigh here in another video! i don't need her to be super friendly, nor do i expect her to be due to her breed/her temperament. she's incredibly loving to my family and i, and that's enough. 🙂 she doesn't have issues going out having fun being a dog when we go places. the vet always compliments her for not giving them any trouble, as shepherds can be notoriously wary and nervous at the vet! – although i wish it were the same for my other shepherd lol, working on that.)
i love all dogs but i especially love big dogs and puppies!!! no bad dogs gang! 🙂
I just left Utica NY and moved to Dallas looking forward to more videos I lost my 8yr old bulldog and it’s been an adjustment not having him around.
Also with pups are ya worried about parvo in the early stages
😍 Oh yes, I love to watch training your own doggie! 🥰 There really couldn't be a better opportunity to learn so much about dogs/puppies and training them from the first day!
Thank you very much for sharing this with us! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 I appreciate it a lot! ❤️
Where did he sleep that first night?
I'm bringing home a German shepherd puppy next week, and I live downtown in the city! What are some same places you think I could realistically walk my puppy at 9 weeks old because I'm scared to death of parvo!
Is there a certain order to watch videos?
I am getting a goldendoodle at the beginning of June and want to be as prepared as possible.
That frisbee throw and Catch was tough lol I watch your video and my white German Shepard is an angel trained better then I thought I could.
Those are not your sunglasses. 😂 There's no way with that cat eye.
Burleigh & the kid hugging (11:25) melted my heart omg❤️ love it
