I have a question. I am trying to train my service dog this but I trained his down so well is there a way when the dog knows down?
How would u recommend introducing a clicker to a partially trained 2 year old? Where to start.

I had taught my dog to do this but I called it “pray”. He did it fine for about a year then just suddenly stopped doing it and no matter how much I try to re train him he just won’t do it. Although, I taught him from the laying position and then lifting his butt. I’m wondering if that has anything to do with him not performing any more. Does it hurt his back maybe?
How much did u feed him to learn a trick in one section, seem too much and does it cause diarrehea?

Thank you! My dog was able to learn bow in only about 30 minutes! The only problem is he couldn’t figure out the difference between bow and lay down so he would do the wrong tricks but he eventually figured it out
What a beautiful dog! It was actually a little bit distracting how pretty he is lol.
Also his shoulders are so reflective it looks like he's glowing, I guess that's how he got the name Halo.

Okay. I trained the bow with my older dog by capturing it. Quickly. Thoroughly. Not so much with my new dog. I’ve looked at other people’s method and-as usual-yours is most effective for me. My dog starts to back away when I lure or she thinks we’re doing a “leave it” exercise and she starts to ignore the treat lol how do I stop her from taking steps back. I think I can solve the looking away by using a better treat but she won’t lower after a point without jumping back

I am having trouble with getting my dog to dip. He knows down, stand and sit and he automatically goes into sit or backs up when I try to push it toward him. I have read that I am missing the cue if he backs up but I really feel like he isnt dipping at all. Any help would be great thank you!

I was just wondering if anyone had the problem of their dog not leaning back? I tried getting her head to turn sideways by using the treat like she did in the video but I still could not get it too work. If anyone else had this problem and knows got to fix it I would love to know!!! Thanks!!
