I'm sorry but this isn't very helpful they way I see it all pups are different my Chinese created did it very quick with punishment she learnt quickly not to do it with my chorkie punishment does not work so something else needs to be done possibly encouragement and rewards

But I wonder if he knows his name sometimes. Rocco’s personality is wonderful and gentle and we never want to lose that. Looking at videos for help him and us.

Florida resident here. I have a 5 year old Chihuahua for which I use pee pads at night and when necessary because we never know when it's going to pour rain. I also have a 7 month old puppy that knows how to use the pee pad and I am working with her to go potty outside. It's a challenge because of the summer weather now.
You exactly correct give water she goes to toilet more than often
My puppy will potty outside then come in and pee on the floor. I’m definitely going to have to monitor her water. This peeing on the floor is getting old quick, especially when she will potty outside.

Hello, thanks for the video. I have a 2 y/o dog (mini Goldendoodle) that I want to train to go in the garage on a puppy pad. I know it’s probably against what you preach but try to look past that for me 😉. We did this successfully with our previous pup but this one isn’t getting it.
We keep him in a crate at night and when we can’t watch him but he still hasn’t connected the idea that he needs to let us know he has to go.
He will hit a belle when we tell him to go to the garage (7 out of 10x’s) but it’s not consistent enough. He gets little cheese “treats” when he goes but how do we have him alert us when he needs to go? Thank you. 🐶
I need help training my puppy
Potty training struggles, the long chewing phase and crazy puppy energy are why I dont do puppies. My disabled friend got a toy poodle puppy and now Im dizzy trying to get her house set up to take care of the puppy w her disability and it's exhausting!
"Puppies will eat and drink until they get sick". I have a 4 month old and my puppy does not do that.
My puppy has a meal schedule, but pees and poops anytime he pleases. No rhyme or reason. 30 minutes after eating or 3.5 hours later.😮
I’m doing all that you said but we have him in an enclosed area in the kitchen so we have to let him out of there and then go to back door. My husband keeps saying, how is he going to know if we aren’t taking him directly outside from the kitchen? He will still learn, right?

My puppy still pees in her crate, eats her own poop, pees and poos all over the floor … it’s so frustrating. She’s on a schedule for potty and feeding … I don’t understand why she’s still doing this … she’s almost 7 months 😭

It’s certainly not for everyone and SOME dogs WILL overeat…. But saying all is a joke 🐶🤡🤡🤡🤡
What do I do if the dog refuses to stick to the schedule though? Especially when it is really hot outside, my puppy will break everday routine and instantly lie down, refusing to move. If you hold her in place, she will just pull on the leash like crazy

Shiiit my female pitbull had puppies I had kept 2 of em a grey/white/brown tricolor with blue eyes & also a pure all white Piebald with black eyes as well….. And my pitbulls most def WILL prob eat themselves to death of given the chance LOL🤦♂️!! Pups are now at the 6 month mark & they eat like fuckin cows man they legitimately eat just a smidgen less than their Momma eats each day LOL!!! Momma turned 7 last month her 6 month Olds eat almost the same amount as Momma at 7 years old😂🤦♂️. I keep dry hard dog food out all day everyday but then give em good canned stuff each night once a day, they rlly dnt mess with the hard food too much tho just nibble thru out the day but they smash the dinner they get in all of about 5 secs foreal LOL. My Momma pitbull Zoey had 2 tricolor grey/white/brown & tricolor black/white/brown & she also had the pure white black eyes piebald as well all in the same batch her 1st & only batch of puppies she had in February!!! She literally had the 3 rarest color patterns a pitbull could have all in 1 go LOL!!! I should prob take her with me gambling with tht type of luck foreal🤦♂️🤷♂️. Zoey big Momma had about $60k on the highest end just in 3 pups alone!!!! She had 8 total but the 1st one born got stuck & didn't make it, had 2males 1 died at birth & 6 females lol. So she basically had 1 male 6 females LOL….. I'll legitimately DIE for my damn doggos as crazy as tht sounds LOL🤷♂️!!!! Couldn't imagine not having my Zoey Momma lol.

I’m a single 31yo woman w a very demanding work schedule(work for those w developmental disabilities) & I take her to work w me.. therefore I’m attending to clients & couldn’t efficiently train her .
My question is , is too late to house train her as I am leaving my current job & she will have more of my time & attention.
