I've just finished the game and I completly agree with you.
Vanessa leaving Jay was legit the most disappointing outcome of the game. I almost wish I’d jumped alone as Jay now.
I like how you explained yourself, very to the point and clear. Hard agree with the whole video.
In my first playthrough Zoe lost both parents, so i can understand her being a total mental case. But ultimately Jay killed no one, and made it to Canada and shared a meal with Zoe after she forgave him
But in my husband's playthrough, both parents survived. In fact, only two people died in his, that being Dale and Joyce (oops on his end, he said). So Zoe has NO REASON to be a mental case in the end. None, especially with Jay being so nice to her.
But in his, Zoe ultimately forgave him and they shared a meal. He got the best ending for everyone.
I didn't. Got Michelle killed because motherly instinct kicked in and i sent the kid out during the hostage release. My husband played it straight and knew they wouldnt kill a kid, so he sent Michelle out.
