I just had to move my foster kitten bc my downstairs neighbor complained about the noise 😭 these tips helped me out though!
We have a deaf 16 year old senior kitty, so we were familiar with a special needs kitty. We just adopted a blind kitten, also called Sunny – funny coincident – also a orange tabby – even more coincidental 🙂 She's a real "orange" tabby, can't stop her, she's a force of nature. We also adopted her mate who she relies on since 4 weeks old. Its incredible how intuitive a blind kitten is, she's and Missymouse her mate are with us for 4 weeks now and Sunny maneuvers our kitten proved stairs like a champ. We "blind kitten" proved our entire house. Our senior kitty is getting used to these whirl winds and actually enjoying the new found "forces" in the house.
My blind kitty Emmylou loves the little jingly ball cat toys. She likes to scratch on anything she can find. But her favorite activity is to be held and loved 😍
This lady is my new hero!
I've adopted cats with special needs and medical issues, and never regretted it. Yes, it's more involved and requires more of you, but I swear they're aware of the extra sacrifice & effort you make for them, and if you've ever felt how much love & gratitude they want to show you in return, it just melts your heart…..
If you have the capacity, please don't hesitate to adopt a furry friend everyone else looks past because they have medical issues or special needs. You can see it in their eyes, having seen others get adopted over them, it's like they've lost hope. When you choose them, you give that hope back to them, and you can't put a price on that.

I had a little blind kitty! I bumped into things way more than she did, haha. She was the sweetest, most graceful little baby and taught me so many important life lessons I will always carry with me. I miss her so much, but feel her with me everywhere I go.

God I love orange cats….
I do some of these with sight-seeing cats. For example, don't move their food trey to a different location. It will stress them out. Show them where the litter is when you first bring them home. Play with them. Love and be attentive to them <3
I had a 13 year old cat that I didn't realize was going blind until I noticed that whenever I picked her up and put her down again, she looked lost. After that I always made sure I put her back down in the same exact place again, and then she was fine. She'd just carry on where she left off with no problem. She never seemed to have any other problems at all with it.
