Just made a handheld focused discord!! We can hangout and play games and chat or if you need help on stuff
I dont own a steam deck, but ive used one, and own a wiiU, thumbsticks at the top aee the best controller layout, especially for big tablet like device
Valve should force developers to make anticheats Steam Deck compatible, either way their game would be less promoted on Steam.
Brothers been looks maxxing for decades!!! Also, just got a steam deck, should i get a like case around it? Like the mobile phone cases but made for steamdeck type shi
I think Steam Deck is more like Lotus Elise. It can go fast.(Playing games) And its nimble because of low weight. With low weight there are many advantages. Good cornering. More mileage. Its top speed is lower than mclaren or lambo but top speed is not everything. A honda civic would be like a 6006u with intel hd graphics. You can do office tasks just fine. Very small gaming. Thats it.
I sold my rog ally for the steam deck and honestly I am super happy with my decision. The amount of trouble you have to go through to get a game playing is ridiculous.. especially offline.
I am new to steam deck and not had one. Thinking about getting one but still doing my research by watching videos and is the OLED worth getting.
Your vibe is super authentic, honestly a rarity on this platform with so many other creators following a “formula” or whatever. Which is totally fine, there’s a reason the formula exists haha but stumbling on your content is really refreshing. Keep it real man!
I think your channel has alot of potential maybe 250k in next year. Keep your vibe, keep the style you dont ramble on much is pretty much to the point with a little opinion added.
I think a good video would be showing everyone bunch of little easter eggs you know about for the deck like the track pad scrolling etc im sure there is alot more little things the deck can do that no one knows about.
Hello, Steam deck seems interesting to me. I like that I can play my games in steam library whereever I go and can add emulators to play some classics. I do like to play games with others so I have a few questions. Does Linux allow Discord? Where can I find which games are compatible? If I wanted to play with friends and chat with them, is it even possible? For example DeepRockGalactic is a game me and my friends enjoy, is it possible to play and chat with friends in this game using steam deck? I here OLED screen gets burn spots, should I invest in LED instead? Can I play some Android games on steam deck? I see people play PS4 games on steam deck, can you also play Xbox one and Nintendo switch games? Do they support party chats? Is there partychat on steam deck?
What is the chilled music at 4 mins in?
Man, I am incredibly torn on what to get right now. I have narrowed my decision down to either the Steam Deck OLED or ROG Ally X but I just cannot make up my mind still. Theres so many pros and cons here.
I plan to play AAA single player games above all, primarily from my Steam account. I do have some on Epic and GoG but my Steam has a huge library. My main and only focus here is to to have Cyberpunk 2077, the Playstation titles, Armored Core 6, Red Dead 2, Baldurs Gate 3, etc… Portable, on the go. No multiplayer titles, really. I have no intention to play these things docked. Just on travels or if I want to kick back on the couch.
If I cant play Grounded, Im happy.
0:01 hey cyberdopamine.. you're the one who wulffden called out
Great review, what game are you playing 6:00 in? Looks sick
._. Why haven't you said anything emulation? The Deck has so many games and can be play PS2, Wii, or anything. That I never think about complaining about lack of multiplayer games.
I'll never give asus another penny, bought the z1 extreme and it's absolutely trash, latest update on the 27/7/24 broke mine the command centre it's down right broken, to make matters worse when I switch vram and it restarts the whole screen is rainbow colours, the fix for this is switch the refresh rate via the toggle in command center but if you've not added the toggle then yeah good luck finding the refresh rate in windows. No response from asus as the double down on the main machine rog x.
Nice video homie thanks for the input
I'm confused, this video you kind of shit on the OLED, but in your newer video that's in depth on Rog Ally X you say how "when you play it you kind of itch to go back to OLED or LeGo"?
You also say the sound is better on Ally in this video, but in Ally X video you say OLED has best sound.
Is that compatible with supreme gundam battle game?
Cant believe this kid is only on 16k subs, should easily be on 100k, keep up the good wook, I look forward to next vid.
Im gonna get the oled because i play retro games and genshin impact so that color pop is gonna be perfect for me i feel like lcd pannels are just to washed out for me
Took a while for me to get into the style, but I found this review incredibly candid
Bro what the name of that theme on 1:40 ?
Great video, what would you recommend for gpu memory allocation vs ram? Also how did Baldur's Gate 3 and Fortnite run? Also I bought a WD 850 Black 4TB for the X, it doesn't have heat sync though, will that be fine? Also been watching and liking your videos for awhile but also subscribed now 😀
I’m simply glade I will never touch a Legion Go or ROG Ally. Because I used to be similar to you in the fact I want the power hungry specs and a very high end handheld if I get one.
I’ve calmed down from that point and I understand it’s not practical for my lifestyle, but to not have to deal with those problems because I’ll only ever have the steam deck, is a blessing.
Really appreciated this video and the format of pros and cons. I'm getting the Steamdeck OLED in August and I can't wait, but I did want to compare options against other handhelds. On my PC and PS5, I love FPS games and gaming online with my friends, but I'm getting a handheld to chill and relax away from my desk. Dealing with chronic migraines I love the idea of just laying around my room playing games on this handheld and not have to worry about sitting up and playing at my desk or a big tv screen in my face. Also with traveling and getting to play those story driven games I love so much on the go. Just bought 29 games with the Steam summer sale in prep, some I likely wouldn't have on my PC cause I like the idea of just chilling around playing them versus at my desk. You nailed it at the end for viewers with the situation asking if I were to bump into you at a coffee shop and the gaming scenarios, it really clicked for me that the Steamdeck is perfect for what I want. Fantastic video and you earned yourself another sub!
I though Kurt Cobain was dead but there you are waving your steam deck.
You're not fooling anyone, barney stinson!
Is it worth it if I have the Switch OLED? I really want to play a LOT of my games from Steam in "handheld" but most aren't available on the Switch sadly, but the only draw for me is the price tag is kinda high
I really confused to bought a steam deck oled or wait for the second gen of steam deck because i really want to play the coming AAA title like GTA VI and Resident evil 9/ next remake.
I don't think steam deck power will enough to handle newer AAA title comfortably, but i really loves the console likes aspect on steam deck.
Should i wait for the next gen of steam deck or buy windows pc handheld instead?
Every review I watch of a handheld pc, the reviewer manages to completely put me off it.
I think maybe pc gaming just isn't for me.
I like the convenience of just starting a game up & playing it, like you would on a playstation, etc.
PC gaming looks like it could be a massive pain in the ass.
elden ring HDR on the steamdeck OLED is amazing
