Samsung’s Galaxy S25 family is coming in January, though there’s currently a bit of confusion as to whether it will land in early or late January. Still, we’re getting ever closer to the official unveiling, and now a benchmark run has revealed the fact that the base model will have 12GB of RAM. That’s a nice step up from the 8GB of the entry-level S24, although that one did have a 12GB iteration as well.
We’re hoping the S25 loses the 8GB tier entirely, but we can never be 100% sure until the actual announcement, so do keep that in mind.
The Galaxy S25 models will either all go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, or not – this, aside from the exact launch date, is the other big mystery surrounding Samsung’s next flagship devices. We’ve been hearing both versions for quite a while now, so it’s still all up in the air for now.
For what it’s worth, the benchmarked prototype did employ Qualcomm’s chip, but do note that this model is the one headed to the Korean market. It also obviously ran Android 15.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 is expected to remain pretty similar to its predecessor based on the leaked renders you can see above.
