Antarctica is the largest desert on earth
Went to Antarctica as part of Operation Deepfreeze 1971 as a sailor on the USCGC Burton Island (WAGB-283). Fascinating. Lots of American and other nationalities have been to Antarctica, mostly as far as I know, scientists and military, which mostly supported the scientists. In 1971, you could still visit the wooden Scott/Shackleton hut, I think circa 1911, with contents left behind located by McMurdo Station. I've forgotten how far it was or is, but Scott Station, a New Zealand base, was within walking distance of McMurdo Station.
Luckily they didn't drill deeper into Lake Vostok otherwise they would have found out that Captain Nemo's Nautilus is hidden there 🤣😂
theres a glacier lake here in utah called deep lake. yes its deep but no where near as deep as the one in Antarctica
The majority of life found in Lake Vostok is what I'm hoping is found on Europa at minimum.
Nice try diddy
People are silly with their conspiracy theories
@14:39 You said gravity is different, but not how? Is the experience of gravity more or less than .. I'd say expected .. IDK I guess now I have to google about if there is a general gravity number of the planet or if varies across the globe so that I know if things like this are pretty unique, if it's not a singular variation from the whole. Then I can google about the spot so that I can appreciate it's measurement in reference to the ruler.
I like your horror tale delivery with Scott.
That falcon noise wasn't funny the first time. Also, the word "Antarctica" has consonants in it.
It's probably the lifeboat of ''the flying Dutchman''.
God created the earth and on the 6th day he created man,so Humans have been on the earth since it was created, Hebrew calendar year 5785
I just looked it up I found flights cruises to Antarctica

If I build a base in antarctica… Won't at least be the story with the nazi base true?
How do we have the story of Robert Falcon Scott's (Kawwwww) final venture to the south pole if they all died?
How long have you been working for the CIA?
I believe Antarctica is the shoreline that contains the water.
You are lying what about admiral Richard Byrd… The whole story with him look it up. Straight up homie
o no wai. my favorite band Gwar is from Antarctica.

My aunt went there a couple times in the navy she was in a special division that “worked” on nuclear submarines some of her work is still classified after 30+ yrs
Interesting, how many months have you spent “ON THE ICE.” I’m a former member of the US Navy squadron in Operation Deep Freeze. BS
