A side note regarding the graphics: In performance mode at 60fps you'd be hard pressed to spot any difference at all (if there are any, my screenshots from PS4 and PS5 versions look identical). All the actual graphics upgrades (more texture details, drawing distance) seem to be available only in fidelity mode which tbh is not a very good experience at 30 fps, neither for cinematics nor for gameplay. It might be possible to get more than 30fps on a VRR monitor but I don't have one. The overall loading time improvements are very neat. Graphics + faster loading times alone arguably could have been just a free update to the PS4 version.
Personally, I find No Return a fun addition, and as a fan of the game I find 10€/$ a fair price. There's now also commentary available for the cinematics (director and actors).
We need like sly cooper, jak and daxter remasters way more than this, we literally had this like 3 years ago almost.

I wanted to replay the game immediately after finishing the game on PS4.

They definitely need to bring back the online multiplayer when the original did so well, and these awesome letters. The better graphics, extended story, and extra outfits IS worth the $10 upgrade.
Yeah, I'm in that boat where, before I have to wait long enough to forget enough story duels before experiencing a long story driven game again. Narrative driven video games are a bit like novels in that sense. Sure, I could just skip the cutscenes and focus on gameplay bit it's pretty hard to just ignore the constant story being thrown at you in a modern ND game. Still really liked the game though and will pick this up eventually, maybe in the sales as Sony have often discounted upgrade fees in the past. Like I got Death Stranding upgraded for only £5.

I honestly wish they had finished the cut levels and had them optionally playable in the full game, like a directors cut kinda deal. I dunno. It's fine for another play through of the game, but I was hoping for more substantial additions.

The game mode looks like it gets dry quickly and it seems very disconnected from TLOU world when I see Jesse punching enemies and they combust into flames. Also I just cant help thinking how good Factions would be on those maps. Thanks for the review bro, you confirmed my thoughts. Peace from UK 😎

I won't be buying it myself because I don't like Last Of Us Part 2 because of the characters, none of which I like, but I do appreciate that the remaster only costs £50, when the remaster of the remaster of Last Of Us 1 cost £70 when it's not on offer.
I am interested in your thoughts about god of war Ragnarok Valhalla, as I kind of have a similar thought while playing that.
At least with Valhalla I was moved deeply by the story and loved seeing more lore
