Regarding the food drill, when both people work and can't the drill until 5PM, is that good for the dog to only have the one meal that late into the day?
Great video! I just adopted a 4 month old Australian Shepherd pup. He knows a lot of tricks but has zero manners and is either struggling to learn his name or is just playing me 😅. I definitely need to watch your videos to learn what I need to do to give him a good life. ❤

I have 2 dogs. Would you recommend I work with one at a time, or both together? Also, how do you tell your dog you are not pleased with an action? Thank you 🙂
Thank you
How do we get the Green Circle? Please.
What if the dog was stuck in a kennel though for 3 months? So far the dog seems to have no interest in dog food, seems the previous owner was feeding him people food. When ever someone in the house tries to eat the dog will nearly bully the food out of their hands. He will jump on them, climb on them to get to the food, what ever he can. The problem is the dog very strong for his size, and when he wants to get to something my wife or kids can't hardly stop him.
I have a 10 month old poodle and a 5 year old poodle. The 10 month old is horrible he has destroyed his crate/ cage gets out and counter surfs if i am not home. I am at a lost
Training dogs with food is nonsense

What's the deal with crates?!
Simply outstanding
We just got a beagle puppy and my husband got a dog carrier instead of a decent crate and he refuses to get a crate. I will have to purchase one at some point when I get the money (stay at home mom here) but will there be a huge issue with switching from the carrier (it’s a somewhat decent size) to the crate?
I adopted a 3 year old lab (now 4) and in the house he’s great, and listens to me etc. but once we’re outside the house it’s much harder. Any suggestions ? He also doesn’t care for food when out of the house 😅
Can someone guide me with what is heel , recall and place ? I mean what does he mean with these commands ?
Well done, keep it going

The threshold idea is awesome. It works on humans too. 😊
Your videos are so helpful! Could you do one on getting your dog to do their business where you want them to? I’ve tried a lot of the advice out there, but she still goes where she wants to when she wants to, and gets distracted super easily. In the past I had one who was so easy with this, and one who was a nervous pooper- like, his whole life could not get him to go on leash in front of me. The only way to get him to go was a long walk where he got to decide where to go. It was very inconvenient in bad weather, but I didn’t know what to do 🤷🏼♀️ Please help!
Depending on the age of the puppy, your advice to feed a PUPPY from a bag of food a little each time is VERY DANGEROUS. Puppies need more than a few kibbles at a time or they can get hypoglycemic.
Will, I’ve been around dogs since before I was born & not ONCE in my 26yrs on this earth have I ever heard of anyone carrying around all of their dogs food for a day & feeding as their dogs please them. Trying this out, thank you.
Wonderful and so inspiring to all dog parents. ❤
This video is old so i’m not sure if i’ll get a response but, The Food drill, how would you recommend me to do it during the work week from 5am to anywhere between 4:30pm-6:30pm? Are their any tips on that?
i made the mistake of putting his doggy pads inside the crate due to space and now i dont think he will be crate trained bevause he sees it as his restroom area. he's only 16 weeks but Idk how to have him unlearn this.
2:53 my heart just exploded
