I got to be honest I was annoyed with this game because you didn't get to use a shield I mean it's a game based in Ancient Greece they all had them and if that wasn't enough your character is a Spartan and Sheilds were one of their main weapons it just dosnt make sense
Kicking soldies down from a high watchtower while mercenaries hunting u down is the most fun i h1d with ac O
"heres some lefendary armor that lets you be halfway competant at fighting enemies" levels up 1 level oh well now you are wearing paper hospital gown for armor
"you get hung up on the geometry of things and get spotted anyway" yeah the parkour kinda sucks theres a lot of time kassandra climbs stuff i dont want her too

I loved this game. I liked it more than Valhalla. I'm playing that now
A lot of AC fans complain about Odyssey not being AC enough, even though you play as a "Mercenary" before the events of AC 1, this is a prologue to the series; it was actually a very well made game, the only thing that would have made it better is co-op, online battles in the arena and player mercenaries that come after you the higher your bounty gets.

Assassins Creed, the art of designing a game just badly enough to tempt players into buying "time savers." Sickening then, worse now.
The micro transactions and collectible searching were 100% accurate, but I found the gameplay itself really good.

This game completely ruined my favorite franchise.
I loved the setting and this was my 1st AC game, however, it was a relief when I got to play with Origins… Odessey has just sooo much grinding with silly missions. Did he mention that ALL animals and ALL civilians are trying to get you?? That was especially annoying.

To be fair though the nemesis system is patented right? I honestly thought this was the most fun AC game overall. Designing Builds and breaking the stats was the most fun i've had! Especially with the DLC perks. Rush assassination and FotB are hilariously broken
