Ick! These Kittens Need a Flea Bath! (How to tell if a kitten has fleas–and what to do.)

I did this to my kitten and he had a lot of fleas like I was shocked that how much he had so I kind of quickly ran in grab the dish soap and took him a warm bath and he has been pouring since cuz I've been taking his fleas off him

Your fleas are very lazy, they don't jump here and there while you're washing the kitten. We were instructed by the vet to submerge the kitten in a small basin of lukewarm water, so that they all go to the head, which they did. But it was impossible to get them with the lice comb (that's it's real name, not flea comb), because they were too small. My son had to pick them with tweezers and immediately squash them between two pieces of toilet paper. The kitten had a total of three, thankfully, not more. She was only 5-6 days old.
I once had flea infestation in my home. I had been going out in the night to feed the strays outside our door, with a long nightgown that brushed the wall – big mistake! -. And one of them also brushed against my leg affectionately.
It was a nightmare to get rid of them, it took a bit more than two weeks. You had to spray everything with Sebacil. For garments, spray, leave outside and then spray again after a week because the eggs would hatch. Garments were comparatively easy, but what about furniture upholstery? And what about garments that cannot be washed, like woolen coats?
The disinfestation crew told me that fleas don't die in the washing machine, they keep jumping on the clothes and keep out of the hot water. They are extremely resilient and they can jump up to one metre, so I also had to spray all the walls inside the house and also outside. Sebacil diluted on a sponge on the house cat (who had had an anti-flea ampoule so was the only one who didn't get them), and on my legs, especially every time I went out of the house. All this in the winter, alone with two young kids. I vowed I would do all it takes so that it never happens again.

I have kittens with fleas that are 4 or 5 weeks old and i want to give them a flea bath but my mom says it will make them sick so should i???

Poor babies. I remember when I found my cat she was blind and sick but she did not have fleas. I feel bad when I think about what I can do for people and animals. Love ya thanks. My cats pawing at me atm 🙂 she can see now fyi and she loves your voice fyi

need some help i'v got kittens with fleas and i'v tried using flea soap but they aint coming out.. and seem to be doing nothing to them. i'v tried using flea comb they just go though it.. i can't even pull them out seem to be stuck to there skin 🙁

Do you only need to give them one bath to get rid of the fleas or do you need to give them another one later on a different day???
