shes beautiful – what is her name
Fantastic breed Doberman's, currently got a 4mth old dog and a 2yr old bitch, along with 2x GSD's a Rottweiler and a Jack Russell Terrier 😊
Well, I have ADHD and I thought high energy dog, Doberman. Well, he turned to be lazy and refused hiking and running. He did swim.
My first dog i had when i was young was a poodle. My parents got her for my sisters cause they were afraid of dogs. When she died, talked my dad into a lab. This dog was a monster 8 months over 100lbs of muscle.I was 12 a d we took him to class. We had a basic and advance class.Worked my ass off with him. There was a woman with a dobi, but the dog wasn't as good as mine.We were the head of the class.Did stay for advance one night met Black Jack 3yr old dobi, the guy let me work him.He was the head of the school, except the trainers two shepards.12 wk school ,did my work going for first place.10 weeks in could taste the first place trophy. Lol.Damn woman with dobi passed us last 2 wks😢.Got 2nd..Had several dogs and breeds, now have a massador and rotti. Both very smart.Next up on my list a dobi and a corso.
Is it american or european?
Is doberman okay in Apartments if they get enough exercise, ourdoor activies, training them well and giving them activities
Mr Brett, excellent video,,,I have a friend from work to have some Doberman puppies, who offered to give me a one…But I m living with a mom who is 72 years of old.Do you suggest me to have that puppy ?How their relations with very old people ?
Could you send me the link of that professional you was talking about? It may be you might know my doberman.Puppy it's twelve weeks old but he's been having nightmares is that normal
Thank you so much for sharing this. Just rescued a 5 month old doberman pointer mix and your explanation of the breed is absolutely spot on for our adorable Sid. We also have 2 cocker spaniels who play on our beach with Sid chasing after them. Never wanting the ball but as you say chasing. Lives being trained on again as you state a chain collar. Much more obedient but still able to have lots of fun on our walks. He is the best dog we have owned for his recall. Absolutely brilliant as all he wants is to be praised and to be beside you. He is also a cuddle bunny. My w
Beautiful doby. Mine plays super rough too. Im blown away how athletic mine is. Ours is a little over a year now. Amazing dog.Extreamly clingy.
Mine is one year now!
Thanks for the great information !
Thank you very much
Mine is a bit over 1 year, she plays a bit rough at the start, barking other dogs to continue playing. Does not bite other dogs just bark.
This mentioned dog trainers trained killer whales before and are proud of it awww no nope sorry this is animal abuse no words
Du hast dem Dobermann die Route und die Ohren abgeschnitten?
Schneide lieber deine Haare und deinen Bart ab, siehst aus wie Neandertaler.
As a Dobermanowner i saw a lot of nonsense videos about having a Doberman. But this one is really honest and on point, i agree with everything you said in the video, great work!👍
Banksy is one pretty doberman puppy wow!
It’s not just your girl playing rough. My boy is around the same age as your’s, we also have a hound mix, when my dobi and her play he plays rough. He always goes for her neck but doesn't bite down. Dobermans are great dogs but not for 1st time owners.
Doberman owner here. This is spot on.
Upgrade the food
Thanks a lot for the video. I feel very comfortable now about the breed. I love the way they look and who doesn't love Simpsons right haha
Anyone selling dogs please contact me
I own a three-year-old Doberman who is simply the best. Her loyalty, affection, and alertness are unparalleled. However, the puppy stage was extremely challenging. Her stubbornness, willfulness, excessive energy, and constant testing of boundaries were overwhelming. While all puppies present challenges, there's something particularly demanding about Doberman puppies. Their primal instincts are raw and unrefined. Yet, around 9-10 months, they begin to mellow subtly. By their first birthday, they've generally settled down and developed their adult personalities. For anyone considering a Doberman, be prepared for a challenging first year—they will test your limits. But as they mature, their soulful depth quietly surfaces, and you end up with the finest companion in the world.
I have a 6 month old doberman/lab, and he's a handful. Bitey at times, but getting better. I completely understand the whole "Velcro Dog" thing…he follows me everywhere! As difficult as a day can be with him, I can't imagine my life without him.
I live in the UK and I want a Doberman…
Your dog is very beatiful
This Doberman looks different than tje ones I’ve seen
We have two medium size doodle boys who we are very active with and a female dobbie neighbor. They get along great, especially w the doodle who is closer to her age and shares her love of swimming (we live near a creek) and chasing balls. The dobbie isn’t aggressive she just has way more stamina than the other dogs. I also watch doodles for daycare and it’s the same thing: they may be able to sprint and beat her on the turns but she smokes them every time w the endurance. They have so much energy to work out and need to run and work hard like a viszla or – a breed I don’t know as well – a husky i so I’ve heard. At any rate, doodles and dobbies not extremely intelligent and get along great in my experience when enough activity is available to both, and an opportunity to separate when the doods become too tired to keep up w the dobbie!
Thank you so much for the video, it gave me a good laugh that you emphasized the 9-12 month stage. My boyfriend and I, adopted a 9 month old Doberman (knowing absolutely nothing about the breed) and it makes a lot of sense what you say haha…we were going to just rehab him and give him to someone else but we fell madly in love. We adopted him in conjunction with a poodle (from a different home), go figure. So far, one of our best decisions. They are both extremely intelligent but him, wow. I'm impressed how he even stands out because I'm not lying, Chancy (poodle) is serious business but Hades, wow.
This is an awesome video. Thanks and she’s amazing
Woowwwwww 💕💕💕💕💕💕
This is Louie our fawn Doberman in my profile pic. We got him at 8 weeks and he is now 5 years old. He is well trained, mellow now and we hike up and down mountain trails. We just took a trip to Moab, UT. He is a working dog so I work him. We do courses and he pulls me up hills when I say "go" and "pull". He literally is so in tune with me it feels like he reads my mind without me having to say anything. Great with kids, instinctively watches out for them at family and neighborhood gatherings. It takes some work but more than pays off with intelligent companionship. Incredible, faithful, intelligent, dedicated and affectionate breed. Louie is half European so he weighs in at 115 lbs of intense muscle. More of him to love….
I dunno if you will get this message, I wondered what weight your female 1year old puppy is?
Don’t tell me what to do
What type of locations do you walk her ? How many miles average per day ? Would you recommend a doberman to live with one man ( me ) and a two year old border terrier. You think the two are manageable if v well trained ?
Mine is 13. Best dog ever! I don’t know if I could keep up with the physical needs of another Doberman. It’s a lot of work but so worth it if you live an active lifestyle and are able to commit to consistently socializing and training them for the first two years at least.
I got my first dog in 2016 and it's a Doberman he is going to be 8 this September, I knew Doberman's have lots of energy before I bought him, I went to one walk a day to two to three walks/runs a day but never run a Doberman after they eat a meal they can get "bloat" I wait about 2 to 3 hours before I start working my Doberman.
As a fellow dobie owner, I have to say, again, and agree again, Dobermans are different. My red girl Lucy still goes over the top when she sees other dogs she hasn't met. She follows every command I give at home with complete obedience as most dog owners know, distraction. People avoid us in my neighbourhood. Despite all of her yelling, she only wants new friends. She is a covid hand me down and has become a typical doberman. The best friend I have ever had. She reads my mind and can predict my reaction to situations. I once did Ironman and being a dobie owner is like doing it every day. Very rewarding, but oi, alot of work. Cheers P
do you have training classes?
Great advise man!
Any tips to get them to settle down when inside the house?
I’m training my first Doberman puppy of five months old and he is 85 pounds! I’ll never forget this breed and the way it looks in your eyes with so much undying love, we just met too 😂❤
I got a rescue Doberman when I retired February 2024 at 8 months old. She is the first Doberman I have ever owned. She has a bird and squirrel fetish, will cry and try to catch them. Has become Velcro 2 as her dachshund older brother is Velcro 1. Very smart and VERY needy. Just starting to talk to me now. Will whimper and make different noises, sometimes barking if I don’t give her all my attention at the moment
